A Day Late & A Shot of Tequila Short Apr 27, 2022

Show notes

The fellas recap this past weekend's Groupchat Golf Tournament Series of Champions which took place at Fenner Hill in Hope Valley, RI. Shout out the entire Fenner Hill crew, they were awesome and the course was in great shape. For 3 straight days, Chubba and Sonny skipped dinner until the last possible moment before death. Considering hiring on a nutritionist to feed them 3 balanced meals a day instead of one last ditch effort to eat as much fast food as possible at 2 am. If you are a nutritionist, please apply within. Bowski checked out Meow Wolf's renowned Omega Mart in Las Vegas and hit a couple's retreat to the strip club. We no longer do tequila shots. Gold Yeller + Masters Recap Apr 12, 2022

Show notes

Gold Yeller, aka Goldy, aka Jared Jacobs, a world-class master LEGOist joins us to chat golf, stop motion and of course Chubba Watson winning The Masters*. He chose Green Jacket wearer Scott Scheffler as well as some other people to defeat Team Sonny and Team Bowski because the teams they drafted weren't as good as Chubba's. Gold Yeller is an all time story teller, a great golfer and a wildly talented stop motion director. He uses LEGO style building blocks to recreate famous sports moments using short-form stop motion videos. Check him out on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. We plan to join forces in future tournaments as an unbeatable 4-man scramble team. We will beat you on the course then meet in the parking lot for a squad fight. You will get your ass beat. TIGER WOODS IS PLAYING GOLF AT AUGUSTA NATIONAL* Apr 05, 2022

Show notes

*In a practice round to see if he will be able to compete at The Masters. The dudes dive in deep with some Tiger Talk...will he play? Won't he play? That's basically it. Snake draft 3 pros and 1 amateur winner gets to give the loser a tattoo. Early predictions are that Chubba's team will win because his draft was the best. A quick recap (and the ensuing drama) of last week's pod. How many new golf courses are opening vs how many are closing? Let's analysize some data. The Tubies are also introduced and the first winner is announced! Stay tuned for more! Please give a listen, like, share, subscribe and leave a review!

It's Time To Play Some G Mar 22, 2022

Show notes

People the golf season* has begun! Sonny gets two rounds in the books over the weekend and Bowski recaps his first official event the SCGA's People Championship. Spoiler: he is not the SCGA's People's Champion...but at least he had fun! Chubba Watson's streak of no 3-putts in 2022 continues. There is a placeholder event on the PGA tour...the something or another open. Some guy won it and Justin Thomas freaks out at a dude being funny. Classic PGA tour stuff. Yung Bowski Makes It Official Mar 15, 2022

Show notes

FOLKS THE PLAYERS ISN'T OVER YET!* A wet and windy weekend at Sawgrass provides enough delays to kick action out into Monday and (fingers crossed) not Tuesday, but we'll see. Technically Golf's own Yung Bowski reviews his morning prior to departing to the SCGA Open (O/U more than 1.5 showers?). It's the biggest day of his life as he competes in his first official event and he was 35 minutes late leaving the house. Not to fret though, spirits were high as the sun crested the mountains for the first time which is an omen he will be WINNING THE EVENT. The boys take some Instagram Q&A and answer questions from the fans as well as snarky remarks. Please give a listen, like, share, subscribe and leave a review!

Bachelor Party Vibin' Mar 08, 2022

Show notes

Cool guy Scottie Scheffler continues his early hot start with another win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational (we did not get an invitation, unfortunately). Bowski crashes a bachelor party at a golf course and let's Chubba down by not securing wedding invites for the boys. Sonny teaches Chubba that Italian and Spanish are basically the same language (who knew?) and plenty more. Please give a listen, like, share, subscribe and leave a review!

The (Future) People's Champion Mar 01, 2022

Show notes

Big weekend for the boys as we celebrate Yung (now old) Bowksi's birthday and recap Chubba and Sonny's big weekend out in Boston. Chubba requests the dap and hug gets normalized over just the hug when saying hi and bye to the boys. Bowski relives his glory days as the front man for the band Exists in Dischord (I think that was the name at least). Who is on the hot seat more...Phil Mickelson or Putin? Lastly, Technically Golf's own Yung Bowksi prepares for his first foray into amateur golf at the People's Open held by the CGA with a potential trip to Torrey Pines on the line.
