Advertisers know that nothing gets our attention more than the word “free.” If we can get something for nothing, we’re listening. Do you know someone who always runs late? They’re on their own timetable. One thing is certain. One day they’ll meet God exactly on time. Our Future Is in God's Hands | Setting Ourselves Free Dec 11, 2024

Show notes

We sometimes think that forgiveness is something we do for the person who wronged us. Frankly, they may not know . . . or care. No, forgiveness is something we do for ourselves. As Pastor Greg Laurie has said, forgiveness sets a prisoner free – us. And today on A NEW BEGINNING, we look to the Psalms for important encouragement on biblical forgiveness. We follow David as he was facing mortal danger from an enemy. Yet his behavior is a model for us to follow.

Don't Be Afraid | Spiritual Warfare Dec 09, 2024

Show notes

Cartoons have often depicted an angel on one shoulder, and a demon on the other, each whispering their...suggestions. Who will he listen to, the angel (glissando) or the demon (sfx)? Cartoons have had some lighthearted fun with what’s often a real struggle: spiritual warfare. Today on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie brings us some practical encouragement straight from the pages of the Psalms. Psalm 27 says to each of us, “Don’t be afraid.”

Show notes

In the average home, you’ll find four Bibles. Or more accurately, in some homes there are four Bibles there but good luck finding them.
