If Life is But a Dream, How Can We Wake Up? #GMFavorites Jun 07, 2022

Show notes

Today's Quote: "Past karmas can't be settled one by one. They get settled all at once, in a single moment, when you realize that all of this is a dream. When you realize that you didn't do anything you think you did." - @ImmortalTalks via IG
Today's Practice: Set your phone timer to go off once an hour on the hour to remind yourself that this is all like a dream. To remember to remember to hold the thread of Truth. To feel for the essence of Love in every seeming moment. Only Love is here. Only Love is real. Today's practice is to live lucidly, aware that "life is but a dream." And to smile to that dream : )
Bonus quotes: Ramana Maharshi on the nature of reality-
‘The world should be considered like a dream.' - from Who Am I?
'Waking is long and a dream short; other than this there is no difference.' - from Who Am I?
'The present waking state is no more than a dream.' - from Talks 244
'The so-called waking state is itself an illusion.'- from Talks 199
Nisargadatta Maharaj on the nature of reality-
"The dream is not your problem. Your problem is that you like one part of your dream and not another. Love all, or none of it, and stop complaining. When you have seen the dream as a dream, you have done all that needs be done."

Hardships Often Prepare Ordinary People for an Extraordinary Destiny. #GMFavorites Jun 06, 2022

Show notes

A quick review of different 'doors' or practices to keep you in Love this week, to get you through and beyond your hardships to the Go(o)d that awaits.
The Go(o)d you deserve.
The Go(o)d you ARE.
The Go(o)d that IS.
The only one I forgot to mention (that helped me TREMENDOUSLY) was:
1. Notice when you're worrying about something
2. Remember that you don't feel bad because what you're worrying about is true (or will come true), you feel bad because it's NOT TRUE. It's false. And that's the only reason you feel 'off'... because God doesn't agree with you on that subject. When you and God differ on a topic, you get a sign. And that sign is 'worry', or 'fear'.
3. Feel the relief in that remembrance and feel Go(o)d again. Now you and God agree!
4. And watch what happens :)
Finally, a seed to be planted-
“Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.”
-Ravi Shankar

Chanting is the Fast Pass at Disney World #GMFavorites Jun 05, 2022

Show notes

DM's with my Go(o)d friend, Ganesh Das, on IG last week inspired today's episode. Chant and proceed :)
"Nik: I had a mini revelation a few weeks ago that because we found God's Love, it’s like we can’t help but be in line… we are in cue for Home. But unless we are actively chanting, the line doesn't move very much lol. When we chant, it starts moving again 😂
Not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me, but yeah... Things move when I’m doing my 16 rounds. Stagnation is felt otherwise, inside and out.
Ganesh Das: 🤯 That’s it!! Perfect visual representation. Wow. Chanting is the the Fast Pass at Disney World 🤣"
"If we don't fill our mind with prayer, it will fill itself with anxieties, worries, temptation, resentment, and unwelcome memories." - Unknown via IG
Chanting is the Fast Pass for our world, for this level of Consciousness. Silently, inwardly, calling on God, that's how we pray, that's how we move. We fill our minds and hearts with Love and have the time of our lives!

How I Let Go of Anger #GMFavorites Jun 04, 2022

Show notes

Today's Quotes:
"When God loves people He afflicts them. If they endure with fortitude, He chooses them." - Rumi
"If only you can go through difficult times with inner Grace, every situation you face will be an opportunity to enhance your life." -Sadhguru
"Don't stop believing, hold on to the feeling."- Journey, 1988
Today's Practice: The next time you're angry, shift from being the one who is angry, to being the One that is aware that anger has come. It's a simple (not easy, lol) shift that happens the moment you become aware of Silence, or Love, or your mantra. You go from being angry to being the Loving Awareness of anger. Cut on some music, take a shower, change the scene (switch rooms) if you can...pause, breathe, smile. And then let Love move that body into right action. Let Love heal everything, because It is everything.

Today's Quotes-
"Never confuse outer symbols for reality. Know them for what they are. Always turn within where Reality dwells allowing the living soul of you to speak for you the Truth.
Always know that the Life Force which lives you is your guide and you will never confuse reality for that which is unreal.
Always do you have access to the holy shrine within you. Come now to that shrine, let us be still together."
-Eva Bell Werber from 'In His Presence'
"When formerly answering my mail or phone calls, if a student said, “I have a cold,” or “I need a job,” or “Business is bad,” or “I have family trouble,” I would reply that I would take care of it, assuming they knew and understood that I was going to take care of a spiritual realization. However, since I discovered that they were perfectly willing to stay in the attitude of problems and demonstrations, I stopped that practice about a year ago [circa 1963]. It is a form of metaphysics I do not understand. All I can do is try to lift you into a spiritual consciousness where you become aware of the presence of the Christ. I can do nothing about those other things.
-Joel Goldsmith, 1964 London Class

Come to Life - Unfold Your True Purpose #GMFavorites Jun 02, 2022

Show notes

"You've got to be centered in God, that's your number one priority. That's all you've got to do at all times- to be centered in God and everything must come your way, it's a law. Spirit draws unto Itself. Spirit will employ you because Spirit is you. But if you're not Spirit or if you disclaim being Spirit or if you act like a human and not Spirit, how can Spirit serve?"
-Herb Fitch
"Your Heart knows the way. Run in that direction."
- Rumi
"Things that excite you are not random. They are connected to your purpose. Follow Them."
- Deepak Chopra
"There's so much peace in knowing that you will not miss out on what's meant for you."
-unknown on IG
The Kanye West song I mentioned, 'Come to Life' from Donda (track 22).
Today's Practice:
Take out your notebook and write down your 'thing'. That thing you can't stop talking about. That thing you would do for free. And start doing some form of it today. Begin unfolding your Soul's purpose. Come to Life. Come to Love. Tell Divine Love, tell God that you're ready.
Say, "I'm ready."
I love you,

He's already done It.
But now you're about to see It.
You're walking right into It.
I N E V I T A B L E,

Today's Quotes:
"My child. Your mind leaps from problems to problems to problems, tangling your thoughts in anxious knots. When you think like that, you leave Me out of your worldview and your mind becomes darkened. Though I yearn to help, I will not violate your freedom. I stand silently in the background of your mind, waiting for you to remember that I am with you.
When you turn from your problems to My Presence, your load is immediately lighter. Circumstances may not have changed, but we carry your burdens together. Your compulsion to "fix" everything gives way to a deep, satisfying connection with Me. Together we can handle whatever this day brings.
-Sarah Young, "Jesus Calling"
"Whatever action we are doing, we should be sure to keep the thought of God alive within. Whenever we sit or get up, we should prostrate in that place. It is good to cultivate the habit of considering our pen, books, clothes, vessels, and the tools of our job as imbued with divine presence and use them with care and respect. This will help keep the thought of God alive throughout our body, mind, and atmosphere."
-Amma
“A day of silence can be a pilgrimage in itself.”
-Hafiz

When Love Leads the Way, the Soul Enjoys Comfort May 31, 2022

Show notes

How do you feel when you're on a journey with someone who has already been there before?
With someone that knows the way?
With someone who is The Way?
You trust.
You smile.
You relax your shoulders,
and enjoy the view.
If you stay where your feet are,
you'll arrive.

Whatever Happens Around You Now, Will Be A Passing Cloud May 30, 2022

Show notes

See through your clouds all week.
This idea of a week, even a short one, is a cloud.
Going back to work tomorrow, a cloud.
Are you going to meet it with fatigue, annoyance, avoidance?
Or can you meet it with His smile in your heart,
and a smile on your face?
Facing your clouds and seeing through them is how you qualify for God's calling on your life.

Feel the answer to that question in today's meditation.
