Dick Gregory said, "When we are born, we have one thing to do. All raindrops have one job... to work its way back Home to the river, to the stream, to the ocean. When you come here, the only thing you have to do is work your way back Home."
But wait-- while that raindrop was making its way back home, it was already, always water! It was water while it was appearing as the cloud, it was water as it fell to the ground, it was water as it mixed with mud, it was water as it merged with The Water, The Ocean. It was water all along the journey. It didn't need to meditate to become water. It didn't have to pray, practice, or fast to become water. It just had to realize 'I Am Water'... and feel the presence of it Self. Remembering that you're God while appearing to be human, will make the journey back Home a blessed one.

When you're really listening inside...
you almost have to hold your breath a little.
It's easier to detect the Still Small Voice when the breath is retained.
Because, when the breath is retained, the mind is retained, it's not thinking.
When you don't have the noise of thinking, you have the sound of God.
You remember that His hand is still on you,
that it handpicked you for that hope,
that dream.
That's not a dream, It's a promise.
And It is done.
You don't have to pray that prayer again today.
You don't have to keep looking for signs.
It's done because you said so.
Say It again.

The Sound Before Prayer Takes Shape Jul 03, 2023

Right now you're experiencing that body as a weight,
a heavy weight that you're now allowing to lighten.
This weight manifests as the wait you experience.
The gap between where you are,
and where you want to be.
That illusory gap between 'now' and 'then',
and 'here' and 'there'.
But if you can stay this Light,
if you can hold just this much Love,
God's timing will be sooner than you think--
you'll see that It's always been happening.
As long as you're not calling 'It' something,
naming 'It' something,
labeling 'It' something,
It has come.
It starts again,
when thoughts stop.
Hearing (t)His Silence is hearing answered Prayer.
It's how answered Prayer sounds.
Before It takes shape,
before you can see It,
It sounds like This.
It feels like This.
Can you Love like This for the rest of the day?
That's a trick question.
Remember, there is no 'day'.
There's only Now,
