Guidelines for The Surrender Novena (9 consecutive days of prayer for special intentions)--

Start each day of the challenge by setting a clear intention. This could be a specific prayer request or a personal goal. Then, surrender even that to Jesus, asking Him to guide your prayers and intentions.

Find a place to pray consistently-- same time and place--every day.

Choose your prayer posture (seated, legs folded, kneeling, sitting, etc), and stick with it! I kneel! 🧎🏾‍♀️

Choose an item to have with you while praying (rosary, mala, bible, picture, painting, etc.) so that even when not in formal prayer, you can grab or glance at it and be reminded of what's True. I keep a rosary and a small Bible (also an image of the Black Madonna of Poland) with me. It is believed to have been painted by St. Luke on a wooden tabletop carved by Jesus. It was while Luke was painting Mary that she told him about the events in the life of Jesus that would eventually end up in his gospel. (source: @EWTNmedia)

No gossiping, complaining, excessive talking, or scrolling during these nine days. Also, catch yourself when you're judging or trying to manipulate or control what's beyond your control, like other people. Let them be them, and let God be God.

FORGIVE EVERYONE, including yourself. We work on that in this episode.

Optional- Fast from a certain food or drink during these nine days.

Whoever wronged you this week last year, ten years ago, 20 years ago,

pray for them and their family that they may be healthy and wealthy,

that they may find and be this Love.

Change it up.

Do what you haven't done,

and then watch.

And be astonished.

Surrender Novena Day 9 - Father Dolindo Ruotolo

"Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, “Jesus, you take care of it”. Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well. There is no novena more effective than this:

Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of my grace; close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future just as you would from temptation. Repose in me, believing in my goodness, and I promise you by my love that if you say “You take care of it” I will take care of it all; I will console you, liberate you and guide you.

The Worship is back.

Real life is back, without fear,

that spirit that He didn't give you.

The miracle happens every time you wake up to Love.

Every time you wake up to Him, as Him.

Looking with His eyes,

working with His hands.

Right now you're hearing with His ears.

That's why you feel how you feel.

You hear me.

And you KNOW,

you don't believe,

And it's time.

Surrender Novena Day 7- Father Dolindo

I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in the deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever perform miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don’t think about it anymore, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs, do this all of you and you will see great continual silent miracles. I will take care of things, I promise this to you.
