    Good Enough-ish

Good Enough-ish is a podcast from two organization-loving friends sharing tips, strategies, and real-life experiences (and fails!) of trying to be good enough-ish at all the things we juggle in life.

Co-hosts Amanda Jefferson & Brooke Forry love systems and organizing… but we are NOT perfect. (#notevenclose) We are busy, tired, flawed people, attempting to keep it all together with some joy and fun in the mix.

Amanda is the owner of Indigo Organizing and one of the world’s first KonMari consultants. She helps people have less stuff, less stress, more space AND more time for what MATTERS.

Brooke is a graphic designer, entrepreneur, and co-founder of the Balance Bound Planner, a line of US-made products that help busy people get organized and prioritize self-care.

We have LOTS to discuss, rant about, and laugh about, amidst also sharing some hopefully helpful tips for our listeners. New episodes drop every Thursday.

You can find us on Instagram @goodenough.ish, on our website at www.goodenoughish.com or contact us with your episode ideas, questions, and comments. Our email is goodenoughishpodcast@gmail.com, or you can send us a text or a voicemail at 484-440-9498.

Brooke then shares a new tool that has provided some relief in the midst of the cold that won’t quit, and Amanda recommends doing your future self a favor that will keep your closet organized.

    Episode 39: Vulnerability Hangover Jan 19, 2023
    Show notes

Content note: this episode includes discussion of weight, diet culture, etc. If you find these topics triggering at the moment, feel free to come back to this episode another time.

Amanda survived the TEDx experience and lived to tell the tale! After some karaoke- and nailpolish-related banter, she and Brooke break down how Amanda found the right experts to help her achieve the TEDx goal, and how we can all relate to putting ourselves out there in an incredibly vulnerable (albeit exciting) position.

BUT… as with any big undertaking, it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Amanda gets honest about some of the unexpected lessons that came from the experience. (*Special note: Amanda discusses some feedback that she received prior to her talk. Amanda wants to be crystal clear that the feedback she received did NOT come from, nor was it endorsed by, a member of the TEDxRutgersCamden team. The entire TEDxRutgersCamden team was made up of extremely talented and gracious young students, and they had no part in this.)

Amanda’s current joy sparker this week comes in the form of a Retail Angel named Khay (who she incorrectly called Shay in the episode - doh!) who saved her in the 11th hour of her TEDx experience, and Brooke shares a favor to her future self that is relatable to anyone with a snoring housemate.

Then, they check in on their 2023 goals, big and small.
