    Give Us a Good One

Give Us a Good One started because Mike Garrido and Orville Neeley love a good story. You might know them from their music careers (OBN IIIs, Bad Sports, Strange Boys, Leather Girls, TV’s Daniel, the list goes on), but on Give Us a Good one they’ve become master orators. Guests range from world famous musicians to independent filmmakers to regular people with crazy lives. The common thread is they all have great stories to tell. They come on the show and give the guys a good one. Funny, sad, insane, whatever, Mike and Orville bring out the best of their guests and their stories.

Episode 8 - Ray Charles (Not The Dead Piano Player) Apr 30, 2018
    Show notes

The guys welcome Ray Charles, but ya know, not *that* Ray Charles, to the podcast for a story of Myspace love with the reclusive actor, Crispin Glover, plus some lesser known Back To The Future gossip. The three also touch on face tattoos and the finer points of fast food. The episode opens with Mike shotgunning his first beer.

Italian tour manager, booking agent and label head Franz Barcella came by for a hang sesh during a rare trip to America. He regaled our heroes with a bonkers tale of a band taking their tour manager hostage, plus he satisfied Mike's obsession with Italian pop icon Adriano Celentano. His accent will have you begging for more. Ciao bella!

    Episode 3 - Gerard Cosloy of Matador Records, 12XU Mar 23, 2018
    Show notes

The guys take a quiet journey with Gerard Cosloy, co-founder of Matador Records and founder of 12XU records, down a rabbit hole of bad, cancelled TV sitcoms, Don Rickles lesser known works, and a case of bargain beer that was politely turned down by legendary band, The Fall. This one's a slow burn.

    Show notes
