Syd insta-rupts Wrenn Woods on her stretcher today. (Side note: Wrenn was the first guest to be interviewed and filmed on Syd's stretcher.) Wrenn is an actress and comedian from South Carolina who also happens to be a proud self-taught parallel parker. Wrenn has worked in numerous films, sketches and has performed stand up comedy all over Southern California. She's also the host of her own podcast on Focus TV Network called "The Wrenn Woods Show." In this episode the girls talk about the differences between growing up in the south vs living in southern California, LA friendships, Syd's first impression of Wrenn, social pressures, veganism, the stand up comedy scene, healing from heartbreak, not settling for love again, how vibrators keep you from hooking up with the wrong person multiple times, the time it takes to get ready, the tests we put the guys we're dating through, alpha males vs alpha females, perfectionism when producing content, what they both look for in a guy and how they should have a stand up tour called "looking for Daddies."

Today Syd has Justine Monae on the podcast. Justine is the "Spanish Queen with Hungarian Bliss". She's the COO of Twerk Out, which is a fitness class focused around the fundamentals of twerking. In this episode the girls discuss what it's like being young while focusing on your business, looking on instagram for girls with nice asses, long make out sessions, boyfriends going to strip clubs and pursing your goals and dreams regardless of age.

On Today's episode Syd sits down with the Australia Born singer and actress, Katja Glieson. Katja gained recognition for playing "Elsa" in the viral YouTube video "Princess Rap Battle" where she rapped with Snow White. Katja has written tons of original music and has performed cover songs that have collectively gained millions of hits on YouTube. She has also won several "Beat 100 Awards" including the #1 Charting Video & Gold Award for "Problem" Cover Video. Syd recorded this episode in May and Katja was technically Syd's first in person interview. They get right into the dark side of Hollywood, growing up as fat kids, friendship break ups, social media influencers, the Hollywood hustle, dating in LA and so much more!

Katja just released a new single "The Ones Like Me".
Katja moved from Australia to LA when she was 18.
The movie Greece was a huge inspiration for Katja wanting to sing and work in entertainment.
Katja struggled with weight issues as a kid. Singing helped her deal with being overweight.

Danielle is a Certified Crisis Interventionist, a Counselor, specializing in addiction and recovery after-care, a rape crisis counselor, spiritual counselor and a sober coach. In this episode the girls discuss a variety of topics including Narcissism, Self Image, Body Image, being disposable in LA and how to build a strong relationship with yourself and others.

Today on the podcast Syd has a heart to heart with one of her favorite comedians Camilla Cleese. Camilla is a comedian, writer and actress residing in Los Angeles. She began her career as a model in 2004 and she and Syd met doing stand up in 2012. Camilla is also the daughter of famous actor John Cleese. In this episode the girls talk about the entertainment business, sobriety, their friendship, Camilla's difficulties of growing up as the daughter of a famous actor, being on tour with her Father, Camilla's recent show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, partying their brains out as LA transplants, the misogyny and hazing in the comedy world, losing your parent, overcoming trauma and dating people who aren't funny.

Today on the Podcast Syd sits down with one of her favorite humans - comedian Sam Grody and things get a little wild. (Sam is technically the first guest Syd interviewed back in June.) Sam is a bird mom, cat mom and seasoned comic whose been performing in rooms all across the southland for the past 5 years. She produces Laught-HER, which is a live female driven stand up comedy show. In this episode the two have candid, slightly intoxicated but highly entertaining conversation about their careers, creative process, bad dating stories, hobbies and their fun yet dysfunctional families.

Paying your dues as a female comedian in a male dominated industry.

Today on the show Syd sits down with one of her therapists Dr. Danielle Delaney and the two discuss how Dr. Delaney literally helped save Syd's life after a failed suicide attempt. They also discuss overcoming various life traumas such as rape, death, divorce and their relationship over the last 5 years.

Dr. Danielle Delaney is a Certified Crisis Counselor who specializes in Addiction & Recovery Aftercare, she is also a Spiritual + Rape Crisis Counselor, Sober Coach and Interventionist. Her book "Expect Delays" is available for purchase on Amazon.

The Takeaway: You're not alone, there's many people out there going through the same things you're going through. It's always a good idea to talk to someone about your mental health.
