SummerSlam is Back, a Dynamite Episode of Dynamite, and Meatballs - July 25-31 Aug 01, 2022
    Show notes

This week, the guys break down SummerSlam by taking what could have been twenty-five minutes into an hour. It was an eventful night, and Triple H’s impact was felt immediately after a great match between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. Brock v Roman delivered, mostly via tractor, and what was a show packed with Money in the Bank leftovers still managed to taste pretty fresh.
Tyler gives us an update on the Bachelorette, including some jabroni named “Meatball,” and Brad has questions about the AEW women’s division, especially with how they should respond after the reveal of the newest women’s faction at SummerSlam. Edge returns, Mox retains, and the hour show goes a buck forty!

    SummerSlam Preview 2022
On this special edition of GI, the guys sit down with George Romero - a former student of Brad’s, a wrestling aficionado, and an all around good dude - to pick SummerSlam. They also fantasy book potential post-show angles, and Brad goes all in with a return to end the show. The guys also discuss how the show may be impacted by the new creative control of one Paul Leveque, also known as Triple H. Will the guys nail their picks, or will it end up as disastrous as their last attempts?

Mental Health, Jordan Peele, Jonathan Gresham, and Vince-less WWE - July 18-24, 2022
This week, the guys discuss a ton of news and notes from pop-culture and wrestling alike. Jonathan Gresham has asked for his release from ROH/AEW after a heated conversation with Tony Khan, and just prior to his losing effort at Death Before Dishonor. The WWE is now without Vince McMahon at the helm for the first time since before Wrestlemania even existed, and Tyler and Brad try to predict what it will look like going forward. Plus, Brad gives his thoughts on Mental Health and cuts a promo on a shoe company, and Tyler gives us what he would like to see from Jordan Peele in the future in addition to breaking down the latest episode of the Bachelorette. This episode is loaded, and the guys will sound loaded when they give you The State of 19 segment.

Vince McMahon Retires and GI's Reaction to "Nope" Jul 23, 2022
    Show notes

On this special edition of GI, the guys react to the news that Vince McMahon is retiring after a half century in the business. They discuss the complicated legacy that he leaves behind, and what might happen in the future. This is one of the biggest non-wrestling moments in professional wrestling, and the shockwaves might be felt for years to come.
But that doesn’t stop the guys from talking about Nope! Tap in and check out this bonus episode.

They discuss their excitement for TV-14 WWE and the status of the women's tag belts, Tyler gives us a Bachelorette update, and Hobbs, Starks, and Lucha masks are puzzled. Brad talks tacos and Tyler talks Jordan Peele before they give their Death Before Dishonor picks. Plus, Brad's Streamyard connection only takes one dive.

Internet Outages, Stranger Things, Wrestling, and the Bachelorette - July 2-10, 2022 Jul 11, 2022
    Show notes

This week, the guys dive into a new format for the show…sort of. Tyler and Brad break down Sunday Stunner from the previous weekend, Liv’s title win and the card heading into SummerSlam, Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 and Mike no-selling WIll’s tears, Wardlow’s win and predicted booking, the IWC reaction to Eddie Kingston’s glorious bod, and a Bachelorette preview that makes them question everyone’s profession. Also breaking down is Brad’s internet. Again. Their three question format with new, exciting changes is limited to two questions and a WWE live event, but if this show has taught us anything, it’s to embrace the mess!

Blood and Guts, Rampages, the Upside Down, and Wrestling - Independence Day Weekend, 2022 Jul 04, 2022
    Show notes

On this week's episode, the guys break down a big week in professional wrestling. Coming off of Forbidden Door, AEW brought us Blood and Guts and the debut of The Royal Rampage. Orange Cassidy got a new old theme, and the Dark Order seems to be collapsing. Plus, Tyler brings up an important potential secondary name for GI, and they both chop it up about volume 1 of Stranger Things season 4 before watching the new volume. Brad loses the internet, loses his mind, and leads them both into losing so hard in their Money in the Bank predictions that they edited it right out of the podcast. Embrace the mess!

    GI’s Forbidden Door Post-Show Jun 27, 2022
    Show notes

This week, the guys break down Forbidden Door. They go match by match, including the pre-show matches, and discuss what they thought about outcomes, about surprises and debuts, about the matches themselves, and about where talents go next. No titles changed hands outside of the tag titles with FTR taking all of the gold, but PAC was crowned the inaugural All Atlantic champion and Jon Moxley defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the interim AEW champion. This was an incredible card with nothing but great matches throughout. Join us, and join a chorus of boos because Brad didn’t know that Dudes with Attitudes was a callback to an old Sting faction and Tyler nor Alf corrected him last week. Embrace the mess!

GI's AEW and NJPW Forbidden Door Preview Show Jun 24, 2022
    Show notes

On this special episode of the show, the guys are joined by the voice of GI, Alf Bergesen. They walk through each match on the card and give their picks, their predictions for how it may be affected by Blood and Guts, who the mystery opponent is, and when we get a Kenny Omega cameo. Brad pops off about his deep disdain for "dudes with attitudes," and the guys likely butcher a bunch of names. Probably not Clark Connors, though.

Father's Day, One Year, Juneteenth, Jeff Hardy, Sasha, Brock, and NDA's - June 12-19, 2022 Jun 20, 2022
    Show notes

This week, the guys break down their favorite matches in AEW and talk the main event of SmackDown. The relationship complications between NJPW and AAA/CMLL cause some obvious outcomes in matches for Forbidden Door, and heel Christian makes an appearance as the Bucks recapture the tag belts.
This week was so loaded with the Jeff Hardy arrest fallout, the maybe probably release of Sasha Banks, and Vince McMahon with Jon Laurinaitis in a potentially industry shaking investigation, that we almost accepted another Brock versus Roman main event. Almost.
Brad gives us a Someday When You Have Kids on the heels of Freya's birthday party, and they guys show us the state of 19 Media. Speaking of 19 Media Group, the group is one year old!
