About Jackie Barrett

For more than 26 years, Jackie Barrett has been a psychic medium and author. Her amazing abilities to both communicate with the dead and guide the living have propelled her into the spotlight. She is known throughout the world as America's foremost occult and paranormal expert.

Jackie's remarkable efforts with the Red Cross and the Jackie Barrett Foundation have raised millions of dollars, and her compassion has earned her a great deal of respect, enabling her to help thousands of people from diverse backgrounds. She has clients all over the world, including celebrities in the music and entertainment industries, politicians, socialites, and professional athletes.

Jackie is the most sought after for her unique seances where she allows the guest to directly communicate with the contacted spirit, instead of the traditional seance where only the medium will make contact with the spirit.

She has been issued a captain's badge from now-retired NYC Police Captain Sean Crowley for her work on cold cases. She works with him and her daughter Joanne, who assists her with both cold cases and private clients. Jackie also continues her work with personal clients around the world.

Jackie's latest accomplishment is The Haunting of the Gemini. It's a riveting account of her journey with the New York City Zodiac Killer. After almost two decades of silence, he chooses to speak only with Jackie, and this book tells -- for the first time -- the true extent of his crimes.

The Haunting of the Gemini follows her last book, The Devil I Know, which chronicles her experiences with Amityville murderer Ronnie DeFeo.

About Cory Heinzen

Paranormal investigator Cory Heinzen recently bought the 18th-century house with his wife, Jennifer, and his son, Kyler. The family has been recording their time inside the Rhode Island house, searching for paranormal evidence. You can follow their investigations at @theoldfarmonroundtoproad

About The House

The centuries-old farmhouse located in Harrisville, Rhode Island has been known by many names over the years, including the Dexter Richardson House, the Old Arnold Estate, and Old Brook Farm…You may not recognize it by some of its previous names but it is better know as the former home of the Perron family who experienced intense paranormal activity to the point of needing to call in the help of Ed and Lorraine Warren. Ed and Lorraine felt the presence there was so strong and evil that they needed the church to perform an exorcism. Taking too long to gain approval for the exorcism by the church Ed and Lorraine felt pressured to take matters into their own hands to help the Perron family. In 2013, a very scary movie called The Conjuring was made about the house, the hauntings, the Perron family and Warrens coming to visit. In June of this year the house was sold to Cory and Jennifer Heinzen…they have only been there a little over a month and are already experiencing paranormal activity.

About Keith Scales, Crescent Hotel Ghost Tour Manager

Author HOUSE OF A HUNDRED ROOMS: Stories the ghost tour guides do not tell by KEITH J. SCALES Tour Manager At the Most Haunted Hotel in America.

Location: the 1886 Crescent Hotel. Characters: ghosts. At the highest point in the Ozark mountains, overlooking a village clustered around a legendary healing spring, towers the famous 1886 Crescent Hotel – long recognized as “the most haunted hotel in America.” The legends of the Lady in White, the Girl in the Mist, the flirtatious Irish stonemason, the unfortunate victims of a charming medical psychopath, little Breckie with his bouncing ball, the little girl who fell through the railings have been repeated for decades, along with many other stories, and are currently told nightly on the Crescent ghost tours. A different kind of ghost story collection. Long-time tour manager Keith J. Scales presents a collection of stories that are not told on the ghost tours and have no basis in fact - invented events that might have occurred when these fascinating individuals were alive, or after they moved on. • A young worker who died during the construction of the Crescent Hotel turns up at Crescent College and Conservatory for Women, thirty years later. • A gangster in fear of his life has been hiding out in the hotel since prohibition. • A student died in a fall from an upper balcony – was it an accident, was she pushed, or did something else occur? • A murdered politician sends a newspaperman to the underground city to find his body. • A woman’s arm appears through a wall in an later decade. • A despicable genius, making his fortune from the misfortunes of others, has reasons to distrust those closest to him. • A secret has kept a man waiting for his beloved for a hundred years. • Two lost children make a home in a huge empty building that is not as deserted as it appears. These stories and others are told at various stops on a ghost tour being given by a weary and somewhat skeptical guide. His guests are unruly, his colleagues seem to vanish one by one and the tour grows more bizarre with every stop on the way. By the end of the night, the stories of ghosts, guides and guests have merged into one, and the tour leader’s doubts are forever dispelled. Actor, director and playwright Keith J. Scales, current manager of tours at the Crescent and Basin Park hotels, is a lifelong student of supernatural legend, lore and literature. In his spare time he has written many novels and short stories, soon to be available on Amazon and Kindle.

“Strange Cures” is a punk poem to a forgotten Los Angeles. And like all good poems, its heart is full of tragic beauty. In “Strange Cures,” Rob Zabrecky reminds us that life is what you make of it, and what you make of it is rarely what you dream it to be. — LA TIMES
