Welcome back to another episode of Get Some!

I’m breaking down my upcoming tour stops—Virginia Beach, Dayton, Tacoma, San Francisco, Morgantown, and more. Gotta shout out Richmond for showing love last weekend! Then, I get real about my beloved Cincinnati Bengals and why being a fan is heartbreaking right now. I’m also calling out some sports analysts for the nonsense they’ve been saying about Joe Burrow. Diddy’s still in the headlines, so I get into some wild stories about his infamous parties. Plus, I’m hooked on this new Menendez Brothers docuseries—it’s crazy how much I forgot about that whole situation! I also talk about my new stand-up special Broken Family, which Netflix passed on, but don’t worry, it’s dropping on YouTube real soon. I’m pumped to own this one and get it out there. Tune in and don’t forget—I'm still here, Netflix, whenever you're ready! Let’s get it!

Welcome back to another episode of Get Some!

This week, I’m kicking things off with the Bengals' tough loss to the Chiefs. It stung, but I’m holding out hope we’ll bounce back against Washington. I also dive into the whole Shannon Sharpe Instagram live situation. I talk about how some retired NBA players love to spill old locker room secrets for clicks, and honestly, it's getting out of hand. Then there’s the Diddy scandal. This situation is blowing up, and I can’t help but wonder what’s coming next. Hope you guys enjoyed this episode, see ya’ll next week!

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome!

This week, I kick things off by diving into my time in Hawaii, where I’ve been livin’ large—performing at the Blue Note in Honolulu and hitting up Kona for the first time ever. I stayed in this crazy compound where millionaires and billionaires hang out, and let me tell you, it was next-level—think ice cream bars and frozen grapes while you're golfing! I’ve also got a story about a shark sighting that’ll have you thinking twice about jumping in the ocean. Plus, I break down some wild moments from the debate and why Marlon Wayans is killing it on Club Shay Shay. I also get into Tyreek Hill’s arrest and the presidential debate! Trust me, you don’t wanna miss this one!

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome!

This week, I kick things off by diving into my Cincinnati Bengals and why the season’s looking better than ever! Then, I share some crazy stories about not-so-great meet-and-greets and the importance of staying in the moment—trust me, it’s worth the lesson. I also take a wild trip down memory lane, talking about the notorious Nightstalker, Richard Ramirez, and how that unbelievable story unfolded. Plus, I’ve got a must-watch recommendation: Mayor of Kingstown—a show so good, it’s worth every penny of the subscription. To wrap things up, I’ve got a hilarious story about the one and only Adam West living it up in Aspen, where—yes, you guessed it—the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

In this episode, I kick things off by recapping my trip to Seattle, where I had a blast hanging out with Nate Jackson. Looks like that's going to become a regular thing! With the NFL season just around the corner and election season heating up, we dive into the need for some changes within both the DNC and RNC. I also share some thoughts on podcasting, giving a shoutout to Theo Von for absolutely crushing it lately, as well as discussing Tyrese's recent appearance on The Breakfast Club. We wrap up the episode with some sports talk, covering the Olympics, the Little League World Series, and my Cincinnati Bengals, who are looking poised to take charge this year. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode! ...................................................................

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

I'm thrilled to be joined by the one and only Nate Jackson! We dive into the vibrant differences between Seattle and Tacoma, especially when it comes to the basketball scene. Nate shares highlights from his impressive career, and we reminisce about our unforgettable time at the Humor and Harmony Show at Shreveport. We also chat about Matt Rife's incredible rise in the comedy world and how his smart use of TikTok help pave his career into selling tickets. We take a detour to the city of Schaumburg for a cool story from one of Nate's performances, before tackling everything comedy—from legends like Dave Chappelle to powerhouses like Samore and Lavell Crawford, plus other comics too. I also share a bit about meeting Eddie Murphy and being on set for Daddy Day Care, and we wrap up with a discussion on why burning bridges on social media is always a bad idea.

50 Cent Takes Over Shreveport, Michael Jordan Mindset, & Fibbing Friends | #Getsome w/ Gary Owen 246 Aug 15, 2024

Show notes

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

On this week's episode I talk about 50 Cents show in Shreveport and how he’s taking over the city. I touch on Tyrese’s version of the National Anthem, people’s mindsets and how Joe Burrow has the winning mentality. Then I get into Michael Jordan and a friend of mine who wasn’t always truthful with his stories. And while we’re talking about MJ, MJ’s son likes to party and why people feel the need to film everything. I tell a story about that same friend who isn’t exactly honest and some lady friends of his who stole a Kiss. I wrap up the show with my schedule cuz’ it was hot as hell in that studio. Enjoy the episode!

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

This weekend 50 Cent is taking over Louisiana with a concert and comedy show. There’s some big surprises coming for this show! I was recently with Martin Lawrence and tell me why I was the only one to get heckled. It was a road dawg weekend for me and T Robe. We went to Andre Johnson's Hall Of Fall induction. These baristas at the airport wanted a picture with me and this white lady thought a race war was about to happen. I also get into the 2024 Olympics and what the biggest story is so far. By the looks of it, pole vaulting is the hottest topic right now! Simone Biles makes some valid points about the Olympics. Hope you guys enjoyed this episode! See ya’ll next week!

Welcome back to another episode of #GetSome

I was in vegas this past weekend and thank you to everyone who came out! My opener Adam Fynke was stuck in gridlock traffic and still made the show! People think stand up is sunshines and rainbows but sometimes the hardest part of this job is getting to the venue. I tell a story about how I lied to the police and said that I was opening for The Rolling Stones. I share the last time I was in Biloxi. I also missed a story last week about Greece that we were dealing with a scammer. There was also a little bit of drama in Vegas. Hope you guys enjoyed this episode! See ya’ll next week
