Get Lit with Holly James, author of "Nothing But The Truth" Jul 26, 2022
    Show notes

In this episode I’m joined by debut romance author, Holly James, who wrote the new women’s fiction/romance book, “Nothing But The Truth".

As a publicist approaching her 30s, I really resonated with many of the themes in this book - and was so excited to chat with Holly about how she came up with the idea (it’s definitely a play on Jim Carrey’s iconic movie “Liar Liar”), why it was so important for her to include the storylines about what it means to be a woman in business, especially in the post- #MeToo era, and so much more.

Also!! The touches of magic! So cute and different!

This was such a fun conversation and I cant wait for you to learn more about Holly and her writing process in this interview!

Jodie could be my personality soul mate. This podcast recording was initially 2 hours long — that’s how much we had in common, how much fun we had, and how epic of a conversation this is!

From chatting about our mutual love for fan fiction and how that sparked our love for romance books, to why it’s important to include different types of body rep in romance books, what it’s like to write steamy scenes and so much more… this conversation is one for the books!

Get Lit with Tia Williams, author of "Seven Days In June" Jul 05, 2022
    Show notes

In this episode, I am joined by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Tia Williams, who has written two of my all-time favourite romance books, “The Perfect Find” and “Seven Days in June”.

Tia Williams is a force. Having her on the podcast is something beyond my wildest dreams. Today we sit down to chat about her bestseller “Seven Days In June”, which rose to spectacular fame after being selected by Reese Witherspoon’s book club last summer, and “The Perfect Find” which has been turned into a Netflix film starring GABRIELLE UNION, premiering next spring!!!

This was the absolute best episode. Not only did we get to chat about Tia’s books and current projects (she’s SO BUSY!), but we also spoke about life in general, the challenges she’s faced on her journey to where she is now, and everything in between.

This is one of the most special episodes I’ve recorded yet, I hope you all love it!
