How fragile is the iPhone X? George Lucas "enhanced" the original Star Wars Trilogy in the 90's, but Disney might release the original master films on Blu-Ray. Also, which speakers should you buy for your PC or home theater? Oh, this episode was recorded on a cassette tape!
We geek out about the Astros 2017 World Series win! Also, I have a beef with the new Razer Phone and Nvidia GTX 1070Ti. I bought some cassettes...in 2017...I know...and I get wayyy too excited saying the word "fartknocker"...because I am a child.
Things get a little spicy and a LITTLE political...but not too much! We talk Amazon Key, Amazons new service that allows delivery personnel INTO your home when you're away which gives way to a rant on the 2nd amendment for some reason. Then we discuss Prager U suing Youtube over infringement of their free speech. Then it's on to the DJI Mavic Pro and a new FCC ruling that threatens jobs, as well new theories of gravity, Nintendo Switch news, and a 1,000mph rocket car!
Dubai police are using hoverbikes, the new Aston Martin DB11 Volante is strange, the new Microsoft Surface Book 2 is CRAZY expensive, DJI wants to let authorities track your drone, crows are flying puppies, and the artist highlight this week is Jyme with his song "Nebulas and Us" of the album Booster. The first human head transplant is scheduled for December this year (2017) and needless to say...that's freaking crazy! We also finally hear the full account of how I crashed my drone spectacularly...and why I need a new one. Then we cap things off with a bit of Commodore 64 nostalgia!
Have we lost our childlike curiosity to learn? Also, a new Nobel Prize has been awarded in physics, we talk about Intel's new Coffee Lake CPUs, and much more!
Star Trek: The Next Generation turns 30, the Audi RS7 is unthinkably fast, Road Rash for the PC and how Johnny's friends tried to kill him IRL, also why some books don't translate well to film.
Why are laptop webcams so TRASH!? We also look at the current state of VR, talk about Starlink bringing global internet, and the possibility of releasing NEW games on OLD systems! ...Also sex for a second.
A straight up rant on iPhone X, Cassini meets its Saturnian demise, Bugatti sets a new record with the Chiron, and Sarah defends Jack...her silly cat!
What were your favorite "alternative" pets? I like turtles. Also, Street Fighter turns 30, Hurricane Harvey was so heavy it literally bent the Earth's crust, we talk about resto-modding classic cars with electric motors, and a baseball team is using Apple Watches to cheat!
