(Apologies for hiss) In Apple's latest keynote, the house that Jobs built announced the long awaited new Macbook Air along with the new Ipad Pro and Mac Mini. Even in the Apple universe, are they worth the steep price tags?
As usual, massive thanks to Audi Central Houston https://www.audicentralhouston.com/

#83 [Apologies for some wonky audio] Sarah "Mental Contributor" and I are both under the weather, so if we both half-ass the show, we'll still get one whole-assed show. We discuss whether or not I should spend my money on a jet pack or our wedding (one sided discussion) as well as the Astros' loss, why I'm so bad at handwriting, and how next summer I'll have lived in Houston for 30 years.

If you'll forgive a quick rant about the idiocy on Craigslist, I'll give you some cool geeky news and commentary, including the wackiness of the new Google Pixel 3 smartphone, an AWESOME tree house, and how Mt. Vesuvius literally made Pompeians brains explode. It's a goon one!

#81 In the last "Midweek Geek" I ripped Apple a new one for their faulty EXPENSIVE iPhones. Well, Microsoft is taking a page from the Apple bible in overcharging customers for its feature-crippled new Surface products. Don't call ME a fanboy, my loyalty is to your wallet. We just want to get what we pay for, is that so difficult?
00:00 Surprise news :)
08:00 No matter how rich you are, you can still act like a child...in a bad way
18:00 OK Microsoft, bite this stick...it will be painful

Here we go again. Apple expects top-dollar and still ships faulty products. Your new $1,500 iPhone probably has problems charging, yet Apple is still silent about the issue (as of this recording date). When will we start talking with our wallets?
