    Episode 10 Darren Williams/Liquid Illusions Feb 10, 2013
    Show notes

This is where my biased opinion will get me into trouble, I am going out on a limb here to say that Darren Williams is one of the top 5 painters (that I know of) in the M/C industry. Darren's shop - Liquid Illusions in St. Louis, Missouri is where it goes down. Darren is a multi-talented; painter, fabricator, graphic artist, film maker and the list goes on. Originally from Beantown (Mass) this mid-west transplant operates in the shadow of the great arch in the great city of St. Louis only a stone's throw away from the mighty Mississippi river. He has launched a new website and new product line called Paint Skinz at: www.paintyourowndamnbike.com go there, check it out, paint your own damn bike and make sure you leave me a comment on I-tunes so that other people can find me. Thanks!-Jason

    Episode 8 - Roadside Marty Jan 19, 2013
    Show notes

Who the f__k is Roadside Marty you ask? Well click "download" and find out. Roadside and I have been friends for 7 years now and in that time we have both found ourselves in some amazing places. The "Un-official" official M.C. of almost every (worthwhile) wet T-shirt, chopper show, and rally in the motorcycle industry, Roadside is the mouth of the south and a friend when in need. The kind of guy you keep on speed dial. Like the old saying goes: "friends will help you move but real friends will help you move a body", that is the kind of guy Roadside is. If you don't already know who Roadside Marty is...you will by the end of this podcast. I am proud to call him a brother and a friend and I cannot wait for Daytona this spring. Roadside is one of judges for the greatest Chopper show in the world, Willie's Tropical Tattoo, so grab you a cold one and find out the answer to the age old question, and if you stick around until the end you will even find out where the question "Who the f__k is Roadside Marty?" came from. Thanks for listening!

    Episode 7 - Jeff Cochran Jan 12, 2013
    Show notes

I was stoked when Jeff Cochran agreed to do the HOW Garage-Built Podcast. Jeff is the owner (and sole employee) of Speed King USA www.speedkingusa.com and the founder of the Sucker Punch Sally motorcycle company. We talked about building bikes, spending cash, and surviving a shitty economy. Jeff let us in on a few things he is doing and I got to learn a few things that I didn't already know about the guy. (Did you know Jeff is a Cartier-trained watch maker?) Grab a few cold ones, download this into your IPod, get your ass into the garage and build something (or relax like a lazy bastard) and listen to Jeff and I break it down on this episode of the Hell On Wheels Garage-Built Podcast. Please remember...WE NEED YOU TO COMMENT AND RATE US ON ITUNES!

    Episode 6 - "Irish" Rich Ryan Jan 05, 2013
    Show notes

I was blown away when Irish Rich agreed to be on the HOW Garage Built Podcast. Lets face it, Rich is legendary. Rich is a Sinner (Nomad), has been in and on almost every legitimate motorcycle publication and has been building bikes and hot rods for decades. I have only known Rich for 5-years and it had been that long since we had spoke. Denver is in the throws of Old Man Winter's snowy grip and while Irish Rich is still busy forging his craft in his small but ample workshop he took time to sit down with me. Truly the "King" of garage builders, Rich talks about all that is Shamrock Fabrication. The only thing that could have been any better is if we could have gone two-hours instead of just over one! Note: Rich assured me there was plenty more to talk about, so there will be future episodes! Thanks again for your subscription and if you really like the episode please rat and comment on ITunes...Jason

Episode 5 - Tim Bradham TBC Hot Rods & Bikes Jan 02, 2013
    Show notes

For our first episode of the new year we spoke to Tim Bradham from TBC Hot Rods & Bikes in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Tim is very serious about his craft and has built some serious Hot Rods and Bikes over the last 18 years in business. I knew Tim from the old Chopperdogs (West Coast Choppers) website and wanted to get him out in the podcast world. Sit back and hear a take on the bike and hot rod business from someone that has flown under the national radar and achieved success without the help of television for nearly two decades.

Episode 4 - Eric Allard FNA Cycles Dec 28, 2012
    Show notes

I spent a little time over the holiday with Eric Allard from FNA Cycles in Lakeland, Florida. Eric is known for some of the most off the wall creations around. Eric's is kind of a Doc Emmit Brown/Dennis Hopper type in that his bikes look as if they rode straight out of the the past at 88 miles an hour into the future. With only four years in the business under his belt, Eric's bikes have already gained notice from both AMD and he is currently set up as one of the top 25 for this upcoming year's Born Free crowd choice competition. Eric talks about FNA Cycle's origin, where they are at today and talks a little about how tough running a bike shop is on a tight budget.

    Episode 3 - Fabricator Kevin Dec 16, 2012
    Show notes

Fabricator Kevin Steel Chopper Parts - "If it aint steel, it aint real!" That is the mantra. Recorded during my Thanksgiving holiday in Michigan, I sat down with one of my dear friends and we talked about the chopper scene, off shore (bastard) built chopper parts and we talked about some of the builders in the industry (like "Irish" Rich Ryan) that inspire us to do the cool sh!t we do. Kevin is world renowned for his high quality "steel" chopper parts all Made in the USA! Kick back for an hour and we'll get down to business. Note: (Audio quality not great on this one. Recorded on location in Kevin's shop. Next time we will be off site.) We are working on re-editing through newer program.

Episode 2 Eric Gorges - Voodoo Choppers Dec 11, 2012
    Show notes

This time I sat down with a great friend, Eric Gorges from Voodoo Choppers. We talked about the state of the industry, the state of Voodoo Choppers and the State of Michigan. Voodoo Choppers survived the financial crisis and is set to lead a new charge. We'll find out what Eric has been up to and we talk a little about his craftsmanship and his metal shaping class! This was recorded on location in Clinton Township, Michigan over the Thanksgiving holiday week in 2012.

    Episode 1 - Danny Murphy Dec 11, 2012
    Show notes

Episode 1 of the Hell On Wheels Podcast. Detroit Rock City has a 60 year old M/C scene that is very unique. At one time there were some 30 clubs that all existed in the city limits. The Detroit M/Cs didn't care how they did things out West or back East. They did things their own way. My first guest is Danny Murphy. Danny is a Detroit biker well engrained into the unique Detroit M/C scene for over 30 years. We sat down and talked a bit about that unique scene and a few other things too.
