CLL #616 (feat. Matt Westmore, Edon Kagasoff and Rusty Joiner) 02/08/1998 – Sunday Night Show

Source –Melissa Tape (2014)

This is the episode featuring the ‘Structure Underwear Models’ as was previously shared online back in 2012, this new Melissa tape replaces the partial show from the TobyDog tape that was just over 49min in total and incomplete. We now have nearly the full show, it begins in progress (just barely) and there was no material for patching from the TobyDog file. Drew tells Adam the story of how he ended up in the line for the Jerry springer Show audience while in Chicago at the studio for his appearance on Jenny Jones which taped at the same studio.

The Long Lost episode #615 is now recovered, 18yrs ago it aired and then vanished off the earth, we now have the only known copy, this is one of Blink 182’s earliest appearances on CLL, featuring the original lineup before Travis Barker replaced their drummer. GLL Episode 614 Feb 04, 1998

Show notes

CLL #614 (feat. The Crystal Method and Dr. John) 02/04/1998 – Wednesday Night Show

Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with JBJ Tape (2008) patches where needed

This is the new definitive version of this episode, the best audio was chosen, the JBJ tape had a “muddy” quality and the Kevin Tape has a high pitched squeal, the audio was superior so we used that one as the base. The Crystal Method would become sleeper-classic Loveline guests, they return later with “dancer” Holly Body who delights Adam much to Lynette’s chagrin, stay tuned for that episode along with at least 4 more appearances before 2005 and Adam’s departure from the show.

GLL Episode 613 Feb 03, 1998

Show notes

CLL #613 (feat. Ben Folds) – 02/03/1998 –Tuesday Night Show

Source – JBJ Tape

Ben Folds makes his CLL debut from Tuesday, February 3rd 1998. They discuss his Australian tour, the meaning behind the song Brick and Dr. John is filling in for Dr. Drew.
There is a new Kevin tape source but the background has a high pitched buzz so it wasn’t used, this is a brand new transfer from the JBJ tape first acquired in 2008. This is still just a temporary format for now. Intros or Outros will be applied to future releases.
