This is the new Kevin tape with some patches from the previously acquired recordings, Riki is making his first return to LoveLine after his January 1996 departure, Adam, Drew and Riki like it’s 1996 all over again. CLL #738 (feat. The Love Between the Two Hosts) – 07/28/1998 – Tuesday Night Show Source –Kevin Tape (2016) without patches from the Spinfly Tape (2009) nor the TobyDog Tape (2007)

This is the new Kevin tape and I found two other sources very last minute, both of them incomplete and without any of the missing content needed to complete this episode, it’s damn near 100% complete on its own and is only missing about 10-30 seconds from about 15-min. into the show, a satellite drop out or swear was bleeped. I wish people hadn’t re-labeled the old files, it added an extra 30-hrs. of work onto this episode. Enjoy everyone! Adam tells the Adrienne Barbeau sexual assault dream story and even busts out some Tim the Russian Rapper.

This is the first time all of the sources have been merged into one file, now the show is complete and correctly dated as 07/26/1998, just as the tapes were labeled by the kids who recorded them 18+ years ago, hmmm funny how that works, too bad some people decided to relabel my files based on their whims hunches and flawed thought patterns, very nice of them to steal a week of my life trying to fix what wasn’t broken until they rubbed their stink all over it. Some fans found the guests too be distant and uninvolved, others did not, once again you decide for yourself.

This is the new Kevin tape with some patches from the previously acquired recordings, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado and Peter King from the short-lived band known as ‘The Surfers’ are making their one and only appearance as a band on CLL. Kelly has some other appearances on the show, the band are pretty much silent most of the show until towards the end, The What’s My Dad Doing in Israel girl calls back with clearer sinuses this time. Great episode and nearly 100% complete, only missing the first 15 – 30 seconds during the opening call and it is the one time only that they play a fan’s mashup of Adam

CLL #732 (feat. Candlebox and Dr. Bruce) – 07/20/1998 – Monday Night Show Source –Dr. Bruce KROQ Tape (2010) with Spinfly Tape (2009) opening patch

This is the full Dr. Bruce tape provided by the Doctor himself, recorded by Engineer Mike as he did for all guest doc’s and guests who requested it, it took 12 years but I finally acquired this batch in 2010, most were pristine and of the best possible quality, a couple were coated in a “coffee like substance mainly comprised of sugar” that he must’ve spilled back in 98, it became a tar like substance that required the tapes be removed from their cases and soaked in 90% rubbing alcohol overnight, then rewound by hand, it took over 72hrs per tape. Enjoy!
