CLL #841 (feat. Best Of) – 12/20/1998 – Sunday Night Show Source – TobyDog Tape (2008)

This is again the only source for this best of episode, featuring clips of Cypress Hill, Garey Busey, Everlast, Chris Kattan and Caroline Rhea. Once Again all shows from 1998 that have aired in the G.I.O. Feed.

UnclePenny’s LoveLineTape Notes: The first guest is Cypress Hill. Adam says B-Real is starting to look like an accountant. He announces he has become a conservative stoner.

Caller Tera corrects Adam when he calls her Tara.

A guy named Scott says they do a sick show. Drew asks gets a bit confused by his comment. Here’s how it sounded:

Scott: I also want to say to Dr. Drew and Adam, you guys do a sick show.
Adam: Thanks…
Drew: Is that

CLL #840 (feat. George Lowe as ‘Space Ghost’) – 12/17/1998 – Thursday Night Show Source – JBJ Tape (2008) with Unknown Tape Patches

This is George’s 2nd known episode, both in character and both times joining the show remotely from a different coast, coast to coast indeed! George only breaks character once and it’s because of Adam delivering a hilarious one liner, great episode. This is a new merging of the JBJ Tape and an Unknown recording, restoring over 10 minutes of lost content, the show starts in progress.

From Wiki: George Edward Lowe (born November 10, 1958)[1][2][3] is an American voice actor and comedian. He is perhaps best known for his role as the voice of Space Ghost on the Cartoon Network/ Read More →

This is a new Lost Tape and Kevin Tape merged with the older TobyDog Tape to complete the recording, Adam goes off on Barney’s Of New York and John tells the gang about his parents. They also receive a possibly bogus call from a guy describing his “Hammer” technique. Solid Episode and John’s only appearance, he only once appeared on air with Adam again on the KLSX ACS on November 13th 2007.

From Wiki: John Joseph Fugelsang (born September 3, 1969) is an American actor, television personality and comedian.

CLL #838 (feat. The Love Between The Two Hosts) – 12/15/1998 – Tuesday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with Tobydog Tape (2008) Patches

This is a new Kevin Tape. Adam predates ‘The Friend Zone’ with FriendVille, Drew says the night before he almost stopped caring about the show because they were so out of it.

UnclePenny’s LoveLineTapes Notes: Drew says the night before he almost stopped caring about the show because they were so out of it.

Adam and Drew were listening to the show where Adam lit his farts and mention they will put it on one of the best of shows coming up over the holiday break. Adam threatens to smack Drew in the back of the head for eating a throat lozenge.

Engineer Mike says Drew was spilling coffee all over

CLL #837 (feat. The Love Between The Two Hosts) – 12/14/1998 – Monday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with TobyDog Tape (2008) Patches

This is a new Kevin Tape Upgrade

UnclePenny’s LoveLineTapes Notes: This is a great no guest show. It is actually a more complete version of the show labeled 11/xx/1998 with 73 year old caller Eva. There are also allot of callers who are dumber than usual.

The guest for this show is the “love that the hosts find between the two of them.”

Apparently a dentist called earlier who offered to bleach Adam’s teeth for free over the holiday break. Before Adam can start ranting about dentists and the garbage men that come to his house, Drew takes a call. It sounds like the caller is playing the wooden block game Jenga.

CLL #836 (feat. Mark McGrath) – 12/13/1998 – Sunday Night Show Source – Tobydog Tape (2008)

This is the TobyDog Tape, the only source on earth. Director McG is in studio but off mic for the entire show. Mark is a great guest as per usual. “She may not be bicurious, she may be biserious.” – Dr. Drew. The episode is as close to 100% complete as possible, just missing 5-10sec from the tape flip.

From Wiki: Mark Sayers McGrath (born March 15, 1968) is an American singer of the rock band Sugar Ray. McGrath is also known for his work as a co-host of Extra, and he was the host of Don’t Forget the Lyrics! in 2010.

CLL #835 (feat. KoЯn) – 12/10/1998 – Thursday Night Show Source – Tobydog Tape (2008) – The Only Known Source

This is the existing Tobydog Tape I transferred about a decade ago, it is 90% complete just missing under 10 minutes from the opening and a few seconds from the start of the 2nd hour, the tape flip. Drew is sick and burnt out, Adam is trying to carry the show, Korn episodes are always weird episodes.

From Wiki: Korn (stylized as KoЯn) is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993.[3][4][5] The band’s current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis (vocals, bagpipes), James “Munky” Shaffer (guitar), Brian “Head” Welch (guitar,

CLL #834 (feat. The Love Between The Two Hosts) – 12/09/1998 – Wednesday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with TobyDog Tape (2008) Patches

This is a new Kevin Tape merged with the older TobyDog Tape, Adam tells the Earthquake/Face Herpes Story and the Terry Mosier Street Fight Story

UnclePenny’s LoveLineTapes Notes: The night Adam’s ep of Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza place aired, Adam finds it shocking that nobody at westwood 1,2,none saw the episode, Produ”C”er Ann chimes and says she even skipped 90210 in order to watch it and she thought he was great.

Adam explains why he didn’t want a tape of the episode, he wanted a recording with the commercials and the network promos, he thinks that adds the surreal element to it on later viewings.

CLL #833 (feat. Ryan Reynolds and Traylor Howard) – 12/08/1998 – Tuesday Night Show Source – Lost Tape (2017) with Kevin Tape (2016) and TobyDog Tape Patches

This is a new Lost Tape restoring the lost 24 minutes of show content, the episode is now complete and sounds insanely great. Ryan is making his 1st of 2 appearances on CLL, he returns in 2002. This is the show I tried to get to the Deadpool producers, as LoveLine was originally featured in several drafts of the screenplay for the film, too late I guess. Dingo Boy is discussed.

From Wiki: Two Guys and a Girl (originally titled Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place) is an American sitcom created by Kenny Schwartz and Danny Jacobson. It was originally broadcast on Read More →

CLL #832 (feat. Terry Farrell) – 12/07/1998 – Monday Night Show Source – Lost Tape (2017) With Kevin Tape (2016) and TobyDog Tape (2008) Patches

This is a new Lost Tape for a show I first recovered almost a decade ago, we now have the best possible audio. Terry and Adam have great chemistry and Terry even says she would go out with Adam, awesome episode! Now 100% Complete with all missing content restored, the Tobydog Tape was missing somewhere between 25-47 minutes of show content, so this is a huge recovery for a single episode.

From Wiki: Theresa Lee “Terry” Farrell (born November 19, 1963) is an American actress and fashion model. She is best known for her role as Jadzia Dax in the television series Star
