Astrology Fun - July 13-14 - Looking ahead to the July 16 Lunar Eclipse Jul 13, 2019

Show notes

We're looking ahead to the July 16 Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn, 5:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time, US. This will be a dicey event, so we're still by no means out of the woods yet. Not only will the Moon be conjunct Pluto, but Saturn and the South Node will be Opposite Venus and the North Node, and Neptune is sextile Saturn and opposite the Midheaven. That all sets up a "Mystic Rectangle" in astrology, where two planets are sextile on opposite sides of the chart, thus two planets are in opposition and trine. It's a complicated formation that doesn't appear often, but is of special note when it does by itself, much less during an eclipse. So let's lay the groundwork on what's ahead for the next several days!

Astrology Fun - July 11, 2019 - Kite Formation with the Nodes, the Moon and Neptune! Jul 11, 2019

Show notes

Woo Hoo!! We get a reprieve today!! What a great day to work on your soul's journey and to ask the Universe for some extra insights into what you can do to help align with the mega-transformational energy gift we have with the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that will be more and more rapidly approaching.

That on the heels of an astrologer I listened to today who was all gloom and doom about this current formation (Mars in Leo square Uranus and Sun in Cancer opposite Saturn). Sure, that's a lot to be ominous about, but we can also look at both sides of the chart, and that's the other message today.

Astrology Fun for July 5, 2019 - Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Venus Jul 05, 2019

Show notes

Happy 4th of July! Hope yours was great.

Let's talk about a few alignments that are worth noting for the rest of the weekend. Not a lot has changed with all we've discussed this week, but Mercury/Mars is cranky with Uranus. Also, Venus has moved into Cancer...and that is super significant. These are some of the big setups for the rest of July's energy, so let's go over it.

And second...the message that if your light is a little blocked, the chart is always in motion and this too shall pass...and your own light will once again soon be shining brightly.

Astrology Fun for July 2, 2019 Longer Version - Expanding the Full Solar Eclipse in Cancer Jul 02, 2019

Show notes

This is a more in-depth exploration of the Full Solar Eclipse in Cancer. We contrast this to the last visible solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 - which was visible in the northern hemisphere - to this southern hemisphere eclipse in the astrological sign of Cancer. I'm swimming a bit upstream from much of what I've been reading, but with good reason: The chart says so! Let's explore what's going on, what it means, and how we can play with this somewhat grumpy energy!

Astrology Fun for July 2, 2019 - Solar Eclipse & New Moon in Cancer - SHORT Version Jul 02, 2019

Show notes

Today is a big day in the sky so I'm going to do a short version to stay true to our format of putting what's relevant in your hands quickly, then I will release a longer version for those of you who want a deep-dive. There's huge energy in the sky today with the Full Solar Eclipse - visible only in the southern hemisphere - but I'm going a bit contrary to what I've read from a lot of astrology blogs. While they may have great reason to be more optimistic about this eclipse, I think there's a very specific energy we should play with in order to maximize this eclipse...and I will tell you what that is in this shorter version, then expand on it in the longer. Enjoy the full solar eclipse July 2, 2019 in the astrological sign of Cancer!
