FAQ: How Can You Be Sure You Will Go To Heaven? Jul 17, 2022

Show notes

One of the most often asked questions that people have is how can we know with full assurance, that when I die, I will end up in Heaven? The hope is that Jesus does want you to be saved! He proved this by coming to earth, living a sinless life, and then dying on a cross and resurrecting three days later so that you personally can have eternal life. How do you know that you are going to heaven and that you are saved? Have you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God? Are you loving Jesus? Are you being obedient to the things that He commanded you to do through His Word? Does the knowledge of the fact that Jesus saved you from your sin keep you humble by relying on Him every day?
The reality is that you aren’t saved because of the words you said; you are saved because of the Word you heard. Get ready to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and receive knowledge that will assure you that you have been made right with God through Jesus Christ.

Let's get ready to find hope in Jesus, by listening to this message.

FAQ: Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People? Jul 10, 2022

Show notes

Have you ever wondered why is it that bad things happen to good people? Have you ever doubted the goodness of God? Have you ever doubted that God is actually good?
It can be sometimes confusing because there are people who are doing really good things in life and they aren’t really bad people, but they experience something very difficult. Maybe someone else who doesn’t seem to be honoring God that much or they are living not in a way that is moral or good, they seem to be doing ok. So why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? To be honest, this is one of the hardest questions to answer.
Looking to Scripture and drawing from the excellent work of Tim Keller in his book: The Reason for God, Pastor Bogdan dives deep into this question to communicate to all of us that just because we don't see any conceivable reason as to why bad things happen to some people, that is not necessarily evidence that there there isn't a good reason. In fact, the very existence of suffering is actually pointing to the fact that we do have a good God. Jesus took upon Himself our suffering so that we could live forever. Jesus is a God who can relate to us when we suffer.

How To Find Freedom Jul 03, 2022

Show notes

All of us are highly complex individuals with our own hang-ups, complexities, contradictions, and paradoxes. We say one thing and we do another. We desire one thing but our life reflects the exact opposite. We do what we should not do and we don’t do what we should do. We are a fractured mess of unrealized expectations, shattered dreams, unfulfilled longings, and a stark realization than when we wake up in the morning or go to sleep at night when the noise of the day is gone, or when we have a few minutes alone with just ourselves and our thoughts, we have this sinking feeling that we haven’t accomplished as much as we possibly can and we squandered the resources that we had and we’ve buried the talents that God has given us.

You find yourself in this cycle of realizing you aren’t what you should be, you aren’t what you need to be, you aren’t where you want to be, and every day, you are continuing to become something or someone, that you don’t really know whether it is something that you’ll be satisfied with or even proud of. What is it that entrapped you or enslaved you, what is it that you have not been freed from or what is it that you are not free from, or what is it that you are a slave to, that you have given your life over to, that has a stronghold over you, that has you shackled, that you are chained to, and whatever that is, it is keeping you from the peace, joy and hope and fulfillment that the Bible promises to those that come to Christ and drink from the well of his unlimited grace, righteousness, and mercy? In this powerful message, Pastor Kipko unpacks from the Bible how you can find freedom in Christ, by looking at the story of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea and how God rescued them from Egypt.

The Parable Of The Sower Jun 26, 2022

Show notes

Parables provide insight into the nature, coming, growth, and consummation of the kingdom of God. They give us pictures of this kingdom that “has come near." Parables in the Gospels ultimately draw attention to Jesus as God’s Messiah and call us to make a personal decision concerning Him and to follow Him.
In this message, Pastor Bogdan Kipko is calling us to not only examine this parable but also to examine our own lives to see who is in our circle of influence, is receptive to the gospel message, and focuses on helping those people get into an even more of a deeper relationship with Jesus!

Three + Three Model Of Discipleship: A Model For Following Jesus Jun 05, 2022

Show notes

Discipleship is not a program to attend but rather a way of life to embrace. If you want a great life, if you want God’s blessing, if you want to be properly equipped to handle the difficulties of life and the complexities of living, commit to not only believing in Jesus but also following him by being a disciple who makes disciples!
When we talk about Holy or Sacred Spaces, we are talking about spaces set apart. We are talking about places that are made sacred because God is there. The 3+3 Model of Discipleship includes sacred spaces and sacred relationships. In this message, Dmitry Kvasnyuk explains to us the three spaces and the three relationships that God uses to make us more like Christ.
We believe that Jesus loves you. That He died on the cross for your sins. He wants to forgive you. He wants to bless you. He wants to heal you. He wants you to experience him. Will you follow His way of discipleship? The choice is yours.

Waymaker: Jesus Heals Those Who Came To Torment Him May 29, 2022

Show notes

We can try to do something our way but the Way maker has a different way. You can live life your way or God's way. It is your choice. God's way though, is God's best for you. In this message, Pastor Kipko unpacks for us what happened when people came to arrest Jesus. People betrayed Jesus but Jesus blesses those who are His betrayers. That is the good news of the gospel. We give Jesus our betrayal and Jesus gives us His blessing.

Waymaker: Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy May 22, 2022

Show notes

Dont miss the WayMaker! Each miracle of Jesus that we’ve looked at in the past five weeks, Jesus makes a way, but there is something very distinctive in this message! The ten lepers in this story had their skin changed but only one had his heart changed. Be careful so that the disease of bitterness, past wounds, anger, addiction, or whatever your vice might be, is not growing in your life!
In this message, Pastor Kipko reminds us that our faith must move us to obedience, which then opens the door for God to make a way! Very often in our life, we are after "clear skin," but Jesus is after your heart. Let's get ready to find hope in Jesus, by listening to this message.

Waymaker: Jesus Raises A Dead Girl And Heals A Sick Woman May 15, 2022

Show notes

Despite constant discussion of grace and forgiveness in church life, it’s still easy to hold on to regrets, shame, and self-condemnation. Our past seems too dark to wipe out, our sins too great to be covered. And yet this passage shows the power of Christ’s healing to make us clean. Christ heals the bleeding woman in a display of divine power and purity, allowing her to return to the temple and to worship in community.
We see our own story in this passage—Christ extends his salvation to us and overcomes our sin, making us pure and holy in his sight, which allows us to live freely and fully in Christian community.
In this fourth sermon in the Waymaker series, Pastor Bogdan will make the case that God making a way for someone else, doesn’t mean He won’t for you.

Mothers Day 2022: The Wise Woman May 08, 2022

Show notes

In a day when women were considered second-class, Jesus shattered prejudices and elevated the status of women to unprecedented heights.
Only in Christian circles have women been lifted up to true equality with men, which doesn’t exist in many parts of the world. It’s unique that the writer of the book of Proverbs, the wisest man that ever lived, Solomon, is portraying wisdom as a woman.
The quality of a home does not depend on location, size, or zip code if you live behind a gate or don’t if you have a small or a big backyard or none at all if you have a view from your home or don’t. It is the woman that makes the home.
In this Mother's Day Sermon, Pastor Bogdan turns our attention to a wise woman in the Bible named Abigail. Abigail was a wise woman in a situation that could have gone really bad for her and for her family. Wise women wield much power and influence - for better or for worse.
