Busy Braves just getting started this winter? Nov 28, 2023
    Show notes

The Atlanta Braves have made some moves, but their biggest needs and wants have yet to be supplied by their winter shopping. Grant McAuley returns to discuss a very busy few weeks in November as Atlanta trimmed its roster and made a flurry of moves while preparing for what could be much more to come this offseason. From the trades of Kyle Wright and Michael Soroka which led the acquisition of bullpen pieces headlined by Aaron Bummer, to another free-agent signing in hard-throwing Reynaldo Lopez, to the pursuit of some big name free agent pitchers that did not materialize, Alex Anthopoulos has maintained a busy schedule and a high profile this winter. Could he go back to the familiar well and swing a trade to supply his team with the rotation reinforcements needed to help the club in 2024 and beyond? What will the Braves do about their left field vacancy? We'll tackle all of that and answer your questions about the Braves' winter moves on an all new episode of the show! Atlanta Braves send a message with successful road trip Sep 03, 2023
    Show notes

The Atlanta Braves enjoyed one of their best road trips of the season, capped by taking a four-game series from the red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers. Grant McAuley is back to discuss all the big stories for Atlanta in the week that was and look ahead for the week to come. After winning their first series in Dodger Stadium in just over a decade, the Braves return home to host the Cardinals and Pirates. Just how good has Ronald Acuña Jr. been? He sent his own message in the MVP race with some mammoth home runs against Los Angeles. Marcell Ozuna has also been sending some balls out of the yard and making a statement with his bat of late. But what is going on with Matt Olson? Is this home run drought cause for alarm? The Atlanta Braves offense is certainly not in a home run drought, setting a franchise record for most homers in a single-season during the trip and taking aim at the MLB single-season record. Meanwhile, Spencer Strider is on a date with strikeout history if he keeps up his current pace.
