For those of you who were born again during the Jesus Movement, you know that it was a time of First Love, of purity of devotion to the Lord Jesus, and a level of fellowship and love that does not exist in the "Megachurches" so prevalent today. Aren't you so thankful that Jesus doesn't ever want us to lose that first love for Him! New Uptempo Worship song, based on Exodus 19:4, we produced entitled "I'll Fly Like an Eagle",a very '60's sounding British Invasion Piano, nice syncopated and groovin' Pop Bass, couple 60's Rickenbacher Guitars (The Byrds used, as well as The Beatles), Acoustic Guitars, syncopated Crunch Guitar, tasteful Bonnie Raitt style Slide Guitar, Drums; a Country-Rock beat that gives a Train Beat feel, a spicy Bossa Flute, some nice syncopated Handclaps, ending with Tambourine and R&B Horns. The use of the Minor 4 chord( C-Cm) in the chorus gives it a bit of a Beatlesque feel. The song itself is very syncopated.

A new Hebrew song is sung in both English and Hebrew. It is a Messianic/Klezmer feel it has a basic traditional klezmer (traditional Jewish music from Eastern Europe, mostly from the Ashkenazi) structure.The song is based on the Scripture, "Hear, O Israel! The Lord Our God is One" and Psalm 25. It is very upbeat!
Guitars, Acoustic Bass, Klezmer Clarinet, Klezmer Violin, Accordion, Drums, Various Percussion Instruments.

Originally, the word "klezmer", from the yiddish language, meant simply "musician". However, it has come to characterize the style of secular music played by Ashkenazi Jews for joyful celebrations such as weddings.
What Does Klezmer Music Sound Like?:
Klezmer music is intended to replicate the human voice, including sounds of crying, wailing and laughing. It is generally the violin's job to do this imitation. Often, a klezmer band will include a fiddle, a bass or cello, a clarinet and a drum. Secondary instruments include hammered dulcimers and accordion.
Non-traditional Influences on Klezmer Music:
Klezmer music, though drawing on centuries-old Jewish traditions, also incorporates various sounds of music from European and international traditions, including Roma (gypsy) music, Eastern European folk music (particularly Russian music), French Cafe music and early jazz. In different regions of Eastern and Central Europe, klezmer developed slightly differently, leading to an exciting range of subgenres.

Words: Judson W. Van DeVenter, 1896:
Judson W. Van DeVenter (1855-1939) was raised in a Christian home. At age 17, he accepted Jesus as his Savior. He graduated university with a degree in art and was employed successfully as a teacher and administrator of high school art. He traveled extensively, visiting the various art galleries throughout Europe.
Van DeVenter also studied and taught music. He mastered 13 different instruments, sang and composed music. He was very involved in the music ministry of his Methodist Episcopal church and eventually found himself torn between his successful teaching career and his desire to be a part of an evangelistic team. This struggle within himself lasted for almost five years.
In 1896, Van DeVenter was conducting the music of a church event. It was during these meetings that he finally surrendered his desires completely to God -- He made the decision to become a full-time evangelist. As he submitted completely to the will of his Lord, a song was born in his heart.
I Surrender All was put to music by Winfield S. Weeden (1847-1908 ), who published this and many other hymns in several volumes. Weeden so loved this song that the words I Surrender All were put on his tombstone.
