And finally, the Treasury Department told staff not to share pics of the East Wing demolition or Trump’s new privately funded bribe shack/ballroom. Because nothing says transparency like “don’t post the evidence.”

Over at the Pentagon, they tried to roll out a fascistic press policy, and nearly every major news outlet said “nah.” When Fox News is giving side-eye, you know it’s bad.

Then, in a move that’s as petty as it is unethical, the Trump administration directed federal employees to blame Democrats for the shutdown—using taxpayer-funded websites. That’s your money being used to gaslight you. Cute.

Meanwhile, the job market took a nosedive: 32,000 jobs cut in September, and August’s “gain” of 54,000 was revised to a loss of 3,000. We’re calling it what it is—economic whiplash with a side of spin.
