The SNF game ended in dramatic fashion at the top of hour one, and the number of amazing plays had Arnie and Chris going berserk. Chris and his Raiders are 3-0, while Arnie’s Dolphins remain winless and may have lost De’Von Achane for the year. The Broncos’ amazing win may have saved their season, while the guys agree the Falcons, Steelers and Colts all did the same. Gambling insider Todd Fuhrman joined us from Vegas, where next week’s Raiders/Chiefs battle may be the most exciting home game of the Vegas Raiders era. We do our Three Things to kick off the third hour, then Arnie wraps things up with his weekly picks in the final segment.

Mike Harmon kicks off today's show getting right into College football as chaos takes center stage as No. 1 Texas surviving Tennessee, Wisconsin stunning Penn State, Iowa beating Michigan on the final play, and Oregon taking down USC—but a frightening hit on Ducks QB Dante Moore sparks a much bigger conversation. Then it’s a deep dive into the NFL, from concerns over the playing surface for Cowboys-Ravens in Rio, to Justin Herbert and the 0-2 Chargers facing a massive test against Josh Allen and Buffalo, injuries surrounding Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, Week 3 fantasy sleepers and some downright wild quarterback rumors involving the Giants. Plus, Harmon tackles Manchester City’s massive financial controversy, questions what’s happening with Deion Sanders and Colorado, debates whether a .500—or potentially losing—division champion deserves its spot in the MLB playoffs, and celebrates the White Sox punching their postseason ticket. Steph Curry’s huge Warriors extension brings up the loyalty-versus-championship debate, while the show closes on an emotional note as Justin Verlander wraps up his incredible 21-year career with his daughter delivering the final hook from the mound.
