Chris Plank and Arnie Spanier start off the show recapping the weekend's NFL preseason games and why it's important to not overreact to preseason games unless a player does terrible, then it's an issue. Next, the guys discuss the Dodgers struggles and whether or not they'll be okay in October this time around considering Will Smith, Mookie Betts, and Kyle Tucker are struggling immensely. The guys also give their picks of teams with the highest chance of going first to worst in the division in the NFL this upcoming season.
The NFC South is listed as the division with the highest chance because 3 teams tied for the division last season so it would not shock anyone if the Panthers finished last in the NFC South. Another option is the Steelers going from first to worst with a new head coach and being in a tough division, but that would also mean the Browns would have to finish third which seems unlikely considering their QB situation.

Mark Willard and Ephraim Salaam open the show discussing NFL preseason and how we are so close to the NFL season (4 weeks away). The guys recap all of the weekend's games including De'Zhaun Stribling's monster performance for the 49ers on Thursday night. Ephraim gives his thoughts on the Giants performance over the weekend and how Jaxson Dart looked, and then the guys discuss whether or not the Dodgers are in trouble following a series loss to the Brewers at home.
Next, Mark and Ephraim debate whether or not the Chargers are serious Super Bowl Contenders, and if Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert have it in them to even win a playoff game. Mark and Ephraim discuss Tyrese Haliburton's comments about the Pacers not getting a Christmas Day game and why it will fuel the team this season.

Dan Beyer and Kerry Rhodes go heavy on the QB battle in Cleveland after Deshaun Watson plays well in their preseason opener. Jaxson Dart can’t seem to avoid the dreaded blue tent. Dan apologizes to Bills fans for them bitching about their new stadium. Rookie QBs get all the pub, but NFL insider Adam Caplan pops on to talk about a really strong rookie WR class. LeBron’s golf YouTube page is blowing up, Tyrese Haliburton feels shortchanged and Little League Baseball scandals are in full display. Plus new editions of "Kerry On" and "Easy as 1,2,3,4."

Steve Hartman and Veejay Huskey are big fans of Ty Simpson after he showed out in his first preseason action for the Rams. Veejay doesn’t think the Browns will be a dumpster fire again this year, despite Deshaun Watson likely starting. And why do we retire numbers again?!? Both guys think it’s a ridiculous tradition. Then MLB insider Jon Paul Morosi joined the show to talk about the coming out party of rookie Joshua Baez. Those stories, plus another episode of Uncle Veejay’s Corner.

The rumors are true — the man, the myth, the legend, Marcel in Brooklyn escapes the mean streets long enough to punch the clock inside Ben’s audio sweatshop for another supersized Fifth Hour Mailbag extravaganza. The boys rifle through listener questions from across America and beyond, reminiscing about the annual childhood shakedown known as back-to-school shopping, the infamous day Ben Maller was excommunicated from Fox Sports Radio for six months and 26 days, and — because apparently this is what the audience demands — more stories from the toilet. Also on the menu: Little League instant replay, the mysterious disappearance of Credit Card Gordon, car breakdown horror stories, and a Maller mind-bender involving LeBron James, Kyler Murray and those lovable trash-can enthusiasts, the cheating Astros. Plus, how long is too long for family to visit? China’s bullet train, Starbucks coffee gone horribly wrong, and Weed Man transforming into Hawaiian Pig Farmer. And somehow, that’s merely scratching the surface of this jumbo-sized mailbag of nonsense. You can follow Marcel in Brooklyn @MMyrick29 on all the socials for his "unique" style of broadcasting. Download, consume and try not to hurt yourself.

Mike Harmon and Jared Smith were impressed with what they saw from Jaxson Dart and Ty Simpson in their first preseason action. Can Dart stay out of the dreaded blue tent and give the Giants a chance in the NFC East? And what can we expect to see from Simpson, Fernando Mendoza and the rest of the league’s rookie QB class this year?
