Florynce Kennedy: kicking ass and taking names for feminism and civil rights Jul 25, 2020

Show notes

"I’m just a loud-mouthed, middle-aged colored lady with a fused spine and three feet of intestines missing and a lot of people think I’m crazy. Maybe you do, too, but I never stop to wonder why I’m not like other people. The mystery to me is why more people aren’t like me." This is how Florynce Kennedy, aka Flo, described herself. Flo is quite possibly one of the most badass people to ever live. She took no shit as a lawyer, an activist, and a force of social change. Find out all about Flo in this week's episode. I guarantee after listening to this episode you will want to pick up a picket sign and boycott a company. And if you don't you need to listen again.
