    Evangelism Mar 03, 2023
    Show notes

Today we’ll explore the concept of evangelism. There are so many fears and misconceptions wrapped up in this topic, and my hope today is that we’ll simplify it, and get straight to the heart of the issue. As we assess our hearts, may we remain soft and open to the commands and will of God for us.

Our Scripture for today comes from Psalms 145:18, and today's worship is Tell The World by Lecrae.

    --

Thank you so much for listening to today’s devotional.

As you go about your day today, think of one person you can share your story with that you don’t believe has a real, connected relationship with God. Maybe it’s a friend, co-worker, neighbor, or family member. And as this episode finishes, pray that God gives you a path to that meaningful conversation today.

If today’s episode was meaningful or helpful for you, consider sharing your story through a review and rating. And make sure to subscribe if you haven’t already.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.

Light in the Darkness Mar 02, 2023
    Show notes

One of the best ways we can be used by God is by simply being ourselves. The identity Christ has given us as daughters and sons is meant to shine forth and be a witness to those around us. May you be encouraged today in your identity in Christ and freed from any unnecessary weight you’ve been carrying.

Our Scripture for today comes from Matthew 5:16, and today's worship is Springtime by Chris Renzema.

    --

Thank you so much for listening to today’s devotional on living as light in the darkness.

As you head out into the rest of your day, look for opportunities where you can be a light in the dark. Look for ways to encourage the discouraged, to love the unloved, to ask good questions and listen, to share your story when someone is at a low point in their own.

May God use you in powerful ways today to reveal his light to those living in a moment of darkness.

Make sure to rate, review, and subscribe.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.

    Declaring God’s Glory Mar 01, 2023
    Show notes

Being used by God requires inward humility and exaltation of Jesus as King. It’s the only way being used by the Lord can work. Today we’ll take a deeper dive in our own hearts and examine who is actually enthroned there.

Our Scripture for today comes from 1 Corinthians 10:31, and today's worship is Shepherd Of My Soul by Rivers & Robots.

    --

Thank you so much for listening to today’s devotional.

As you go about your day today, look for one way that you can proclaim God’s glory to others. It could be choosing peace in the midst of trials. It could be showing forgiveness and mercy when someone wrongs you. It could be sharing who God is to you with another. Whatever it is, seek to declare God’s glory in a meaningful, authentic way today.

Make sure to rate, review, and subscribe if today’s devotional was meaningful for you.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.

God is Already at Work Feb 28, 2023
    Show notes

If we are going to be used by God, we must first acknowledge that he is already at work all around us, and that his work isn’t contingent upon us. This is not something we’re starting up. The weight is not on our shoulders—the pressure is off. I hope today you’re freed up to be used by God out of joy and delight rather than obligation or stress.

Our Scripture for today comes from Philippians 2:13, and today's worship is With You (Paradoxology) by Elevation Worship.

    --

Thank you for listening to today’s podcast.

As you head out into the rest of your day, look for different ways that God might be at work around you. And rather than heading straight in, ask God to reveal what he’s doing, and why he’s doing it. Our best action always begins with thoughtful listening.

Make sure to rate, review, and subscribe.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.

God Wants to Use You Feb 27, 2023
    Show notes

In response to God’s work in our hearts, we are called to share the wonders of his invisible nature with a world in desperate need of him. God has chosen to use us to reveal himself. He’s filled us with the Spirit and empowered us to proclaim the good news of salvation and restored relationship with our Creator. May you discover this week that you were made to share God’s heart. And may you find joy and passion in God’s longing to use you in powerful and unique ways.

Our Scripture for today comes from Ephesians 2:10, and today's worship is Make Me A Vessel by Vessel Collective.

    --

Thanks for listening to today’s podcast. As you go about your day today, look for one or two ways that you can join God where he is at work around you. Look for someone who needs an encouraging word, and choose to be vulnerable and honest with that person. Look for someone who needs a helping hand, and choose to trust God that an investment of your time even outside of your plans will be worth it.

Make sure to rate, review, and subscribe.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.

Gaining Spiritual Eyes Feb 26, 2023
    Show notes

Today as we wrap up our week of diving deeper into the fullness of life available to us, we’ll explore what it means to gain spiritual eyes. Our human perspective is so utterly limited this side of heaven. We see ourselves, God, and others incorrectly on a regular basis. To experience the fullness of life, it’s imperative that we take up God’s perspective on all things and allow him to enlighten the eyes of our hearts. May you walk away from today with a new, eternal perspective.

Our Scripture for today comes from Ephesians 1:18, and today's worship is My Jesus by Anne Wilson.

    Surrender Feb 25, 2023
    Show notes

Fullness of life and surrender are inextricably linked. As we begin to wrap up our week on diving into the fullness of life, today we’ll explore the concept of surrendering to Jesus. May you be encouraged instead of burdened and take whatever next steps necessary to give Jesus your all.

Our Scripture for today comes from Matthew 10:39, and today's worship is I Surrender by Hillsong UNITED feat. Lauren Daigle.

    Understanding Feb 24, 2023
    Show notes

This week as we dive deeper into the fullness of life available to us, we’ll look today at the biblical concept of understanding and how it relates to experiencing God. May God shift your perspective today and bring you into greater fullness of life in your relationship with him. What’s beautiful about God is that no matter where you’re at in your walk with him, there is always more.

Our Scripture for today comes from Psalms 145:18, and today's worship is God I look To You by Bethany Whorle.

Faith and Trust Feb 23, 2023

Are you standing on sinking sand? Or do you feel the ground firm beneath your feet? Assess your heart in this moment. Are you living in fear? Are you shaken as things appear to be falling apart? Allow your answers to be indicators of whether or not you’re placing your faith and trust in God alone. The Lord is a firm foundation, and the only solid place to place your trust. In diving deeper today, we’re going to secure our foundation in the only steady hope—Jesus.

Our Scripture for today comes from Psalm 9:10, and today's worship is Lion by Elevation Worship.

Acknowledging Our Need Feb 22, 2023
    Show notes

As we dive deeper into the fullness of life available to us this week, looking at the concept of acknowledging our need for God is essential. We will never taste the fullness of God’s sufficient grace until we learn to live low, acknowledging our need and weakness before the Lord. So many of us are fearful of appearing weak and work our fingers to the bone to feel sufficient within ourselves. The only path to true power and freedom comes through embracing our need and lack. May you experience that freedom and strength from God today.

Our Scripture for today comes from Psalm 73:26, and today's worship is All That I Need by Gateway Worship.
