    Episode 673 - Dominique Moceanu and Dr. Michael Canales are First Class Parents and World Class Gymnasts.

    Dominique Moceanu is an Olympic Gold Medalist who became the youngest US gymnast to win gold when she was just 14 years old as a member of the “Magnificent Seven” women’s gymnastics team in 1996, the first US gymnastics team to win the team gold medal. Despite the fact that Dominique suffered a painful stress fracture in her tibia leading up to the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, she fought through the pain and contributed significantly to the women’s team’s history-making result.


    Dr. Michael Canales was a member of The Ohio State University’s National Championship Gymnastics Team in 1996, Big Ten Conference Championship teams in 1996 and 1997, and served as the team captain of the Buckeyes from 1997 through 1999. Presently a member of the St. Vincent Spine & Orthopedic Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Canales specializes in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery with a special interest in injuries of the Achilles tendon.


    Together, Dominique and Mike run the Dominique Moceanu Gymnastics Center where they teach gymnastics, yoga and more.


    In this Episode, Dominique and Mike share their parenting journey which includes three children. They discuss how they met and how becoming parents has changed their relationship as well as their perspective on life. They discuss their son Vincent’s hopes to compete in the 2024 Olympics and the balance of teaching him to work hard without putting pressure on him to be in the shadow of his Olympic gold medalist mom and national champion dad. They describe the importance of their faith and the top values they hope to instill in all their children growing up. They talk about going back to diaper duty with their 7-month-old and how they managed through a very dangerous delivery of their third child.     Episode 672 - Dave Rubin is a First Class Father and Host of The Rubin Report. Dave Rubin is an author, comedian, and TV personality best known for his political commentary. The Rubin Report is a top-ranking talk show recognized as one of the most influential spaces for candid conversations about politics, polarizing issues, current events, and more.


    Rubin began his career as a stand up comedian and continues to perform throughout the United States utilizing his voice to highlight the absurdities of the country's increasingly polarized political landscape.     Governor Ron DeSantis - Best of 2022 - Rebroadcast of my interview with Governor DeSantis from May 27, 2022.

    Governor Ron DeSantis is a First Class Father and 46th Governor of Florida. Prior to becoming Governor, he served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida's 6th district from 2013 to 2018. He graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. Governor DeSantis joined the United States Navy in 2004, where he was promoted to lieutenant before serving as an advisor to SEAL Team One and being deployed to Iraq in 2007. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and other awards for his service. Governor DeSantis is the most Pro-Father and Pro-Family person in politics and recently signed groundbreaking legislation to support involved Fatherhood in Florida. In this Episode, Governor DeSantis shares his Fatherhood journey which includes three children. He discusses the family scare of his wife Casey’s breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and how he managed it as a husband, father and Governor. He describes the importance of having a father in the home, the Fatherless Crisis and the recent legislation he signed to attack the crisis. He talks about the scary time for parents right now and how they can fight back against school systems targeting our children with sexual ideologies that have no place in the classroom. He was a National Endowment for the Humanities fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences, Stanford, California (1992–93), a visiting professor of classics at Stanford University (1991–92), the annual Wayne and Marcia Buske Distinguished Visiting Fellow in History at Hillsdale College (2004–), the Visiting Shifron Professor of Military History at the US Naval Academy (2002–3),and the William Simon Visiting Professor of Public Policy at Pepperdine University (2010).

    Dr. Hanson is the author of hundreds of articles, book reviews, and newspaper editorials on Greek, agrarian, and military history and essays on contemporary culture. He has written or edited twenty-four books.

    Dr. Hanson can frequently be seen on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

    Episode 669 - Tim Siegel is a First Class Father and retired tennis coach at Texas Tech. In 2015 his son, Luke, was involved in a tragic golf cart accident that left him with traumatic brain injuries so bad the neurologist told the Siegel family that Luke would never use his voice or his limbs. Luke was a fighter and was able to inspire millions of people around the world without ever saying a word. In August 2021, Luke Siegel, passed away after complications related to COVID-19.     Episode 668 - Tommy Aceto is a First Class Father and former Navy SEAL. He served for 16 years as a medic in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams where he conducted many combat missions. He deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and the Pacific Islands. Tommy became a Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal (B.U.D/S) instructor and also helped develop many training curriculums for Combat Diving, Close Quarter Combat, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and Special Surveillance Operations. Prior to joining the Navy and becoming a Frogman, Tommy was an NCAA Soccer player and State Champion wrestler.

    In this Episode, Tommy shares his Fatherhood journey which includes four children. He describes his difficult divorce and ruthless custody battle which ended with him not being allowed to see his own children. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Ladapo worked as an associate professor of general internal medicine and a health policy researcher at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He is the author of a new book “Transcend Fear: A Blueprint for Mindful Leadership in Public Health”.
