    Finding Arizona Podcast

    Finding Arizona is a weekly podcast that interviews local business owners. We strive to find out what the owners’ passions are and interesting tid-bits that people don’t know about them. The idea is to organically have a conversation with a friend, so the audience can hear everything from the owner’s point of view. We hope the podcast is able to form and gain more fans and followers, and start a community of passionate supporters and entrepreneurs. We love everything about the people who make up the diverse area of Arizona, and we want the people to help make this podcast live and strive.

    In this episode, Aaron Schofield and Kylee Roberts, co-owners of Luana's Coffee & Beers, share how a rainy afternoon in a Philadelphia coffee shop turned into one of Phoenix's most soulful coffee-and-beer concepts. Aaron talks about selling nearly everything he owned to build a mobile coffee cart with his father, naming the brand after his grandmother, Luana, and opening the first brick-and-mortar location in the same house where he learned to pull espresso from his late friend and mentor, Kyle Hodge. Kylee shares how she went from a customer to fiancee and co-owner, and together they talk about weathering supply-cost swings, staying visible in their own shop every day, and why they see more coffee shops opening nearby as a reason to push harder, not a threat.

    In this episode, Paige Dimakos, CEO of The Draft Network, traces her path from covering women's bowling and gymnastics in college to running one of the most respected NFL draft platforms in the country. Paige talks about being raised by a single father who taught her to believe she belongs in every room, launching and selling a company before turning 25, and why The Draft Network's early crew forced the entire sports media industry to take draft coverage seriously. She also shares what actually makes content last in a landscape built on chasing trends, and what still needs to change for women in sports media to compete on a level playing field. Paige comes from a diverse background including stops at Big Ten Network, ESPN Phoenix, FanRag Sports, and CBS Sports. Since 2020 she has operated as CEO of The Draft Network, working with brands including Anheuser-Busch, Ford, Panini-America, Bose, and Dick's Sporting Goods. As the youngest female CEO in sports media, she is determined to help other women in the industry continue moving their goalposts forward toward success.
