Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the fabulous actor (comic and otherwise) KIELL SMITH-BYNOE!
Below will be the original writeup for this episode which originally aired on 18th February 2021. A really fun episode conducted via the Caribbean so we catch Kiell in a very relaxed and pleasurable environment! Have a cathartic holiday on us...
It's me on the intro/outro (your producer Buddy Peace), so don't be alarmed. I mean you no shock or surprise.

A super nice get-along with Brett and Kiell as they proper get into it on the subject of this whole life and death and film thing… Kiell is busy filming in Guadalupe (being tested like 5 times every hour, don’t ya worry) which must have been tough for Brett having to view screensaver / wallpaper-perfect views of paradise coming from Kiell’s zoom view. It’s great though, as they get into all he’s doing, been up to, past lives, not a yes and not a no, pots of despair, therapy, drama school madness, shedding no tears and past rap interest. There was a degree of environmental wind to balance out so this might not sound quite as ‘full’ as your regularly scheduled episodes - you shouldn’t notice too much upheaval though. ANYWAY - enjoy, it’s a goody…

A delicious episode with a ton of insider goodies and tidbits for those who know Ben, but for those perhaps still unaware, it's a really solid one that has everything you want, need, and deserve from a classic Films To Be Buried With!

A fantastic chat with Ben and Brett, ranging from fun and funny to honest and heartfelt, with all the rich, cinematic goodness you could wish for. Ben has been in a TON of films and programs in his career which you can dig through in the links below, and he goes through a lot in this episode including good pal Will Poulter, Shadow & Bone, Westworld, Narnia, Los Angeles vs London, swag, on set scare tactics and his own music, but SO much more. You'll love it - whether you know Ben or not, this one will bring you pure joy.

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the excellent comedian, podcaster and writer KEMAH BOB!
Below will be the original writeup for this episode which originally aired on 19th November 2020. A lovely episode with some excellent choices, and unique takes courtesy of Kemah, which also goes into such areas as working with show pal Nish Kumar, candy flipping and hippy tripping, celebrating all of our inner babies, and crying into fires. And more!

The absolutely perfect and essential introduction to the world of Kemah, should you have not made her acquaintance just yet! Kemah’s ace, and breezes through the lineup of inquisitive Brett nuggets with grace and proper fun, hitting on subjects including being in more of a TV than film place right now, working with Nish on Hello America and what it’s REALLY like to have him as a boss, being Texan, candy flipping and hippy tripping, finding one’s inner sad baby, growing up in an ‘area’ and the rule of 88! It’s all here. Enjoy!!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the hilarious comic, writer, host and podcaster JAMALI MADDIX!
Below will be the original writeup for this episode which originally aired on 25th March 2021. It's a really great episode as you will well expect from Jamali, but it also touches on some serious topics to do with his own near death experience in South East Asia, and some of his experiences making the show 'Hate Thy Neighbour'.
Nothing too rough but as with the best episodes, it's a great mixture of tone and feel. If you missed it originally, you'll love it - and you may have also become acquainted with Jamali since the original airing so you'll definitely enjoy this.

As adept on stage as he is in front of the camera, Jamali has been insanely busy over the past few years and here’s a chance to get up to speed on it all… From comedy to documentary making by way of ‘Hate Thy Neighbour’, you’ll hear about some of the many heavy situations he’s found himself in, which he has met with good humour and logic. But damn. He’s been able to weave out of being typecast though in some very smart moves which led him to Taskmaster, though not without some non-documentary related near deathe experiences along the way and all manner of mad stories to accompany. Another action packed episode folks, enjoy!!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with the fabulous, the truly great, the acting legend that is SHARON STONE!
Below will be the original writeup for this episode which originally aired around June 2020. It was in the early days of the pandemic, when the world seemed truly bizarre, scary and plain weird. It's odd sometimes to think back especially when it's to a specific episode, as it can really timewarp you back there more than just a vague general memory of the era. Sharon was a delight, and rose to the occasion spectacularly, so please enjoy this glimpse into the past! It's me on the intro/outro (your producer Buddy Peace), so don't be alarmed. I mean you no shock or surprise.

I was going to start with “You may remember Sharon from such films as…”, but of course - that ‘may’ is redundant and superfluous. You KNOW her from such films as Basic Instinct, Sliver, Casino and SO so many more, and her filmography is as strong as it gets with appearances in all kinds of great movies dating back to the early 80’s. She and Brett meet in her garden (with a remote Brett in his house), for a very fun, interesting and revealing chat which goes into her past acting experiences, life and important work she’s been involved with around the world. Truly fascinating, you’ll love this one.

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with one of the UK's finest, it's RAY WINSTONE!
You did indeed read that correctly. Brett caught up with Ray for a glorious episode which could have only been improved if it was conducted in person, but if Ray is available you take him any way you can bloody well get him. If you don't know him, he starred in huge films such as Sexy Beast, The Departed and Beowulf to name a few. Of course, a lot of his filmography gets covered here but on top of that, we hear about shouting at the screen, early David Lynch experiences, creating magic on a non-real film set, being an avid viewer of movies from all across the globe, getting over language hurdles in films and so much more. A true delight. ENJOY!
(note: Ray mentioned a film where someone has amnesia - looks like it might be 'Random Harvest' - in case you're curious!)

LOOK OUT! It’s only Films To Be Buried With!
Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with legendary actor who we've seen on-screen for almost all his life - it's TYLER JAMES WILLIAMS!
Just by way of speed intro, Tyler played a young Chris Rock in Everybody Hates Chris, which you might recall from a minute ago. But a more up to date credit would be the fabulous Abbott Elementary, which has just been picked up for a 4th season so here's to more Quinta and Tyler and the gang! Anyway - a delightful episode, with ups and downs like you wouldn't believe - the 'Sesame Street Peak', memoirs, fear as an indicator in life, couples being too sexy, dogs breaking the fourth wall in heaven (never typed those words in that order before), avoiding troublesome phases of a young actor's life, and a rugged near death period of his life where work nearly concluded his whole story... A brilliant ep. Enjoy!

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with shall we say national treasure? Yeah let's do it... National treasure and actor EDDIE MARSAN!
A glorious episode full of fun and gems from someone whose passion for and dedication to the game is admirable and inspirational. Eddie is one of the busiest folks in showbiz, and has a lot to share about it all. So much to enjoy including his dislike for typecasting and being put in a box, drama school days, jelag secrets, chilling with Jim Broadbent and Bob The Butcher, on-set behaviour, family commutes, the society and vampire connection and acting like a mechanic. Fascinating - you'll love this one.

Join your host Brett Goldstein as he talks life, death, love and the universe with comic and all round whirlwind talent LEO REICH!
A fabulous episode as Leo and Brett catch up to deliver gems and goodness upon all, with a fascinating look inside that mind of Leo's and a lovely intro to the human being if you are yet unfamiliar! It's a good time to catch Leo as his special dropped at the end of 2023 on HBO, so we find him in an interesting place of figuring out where to go from here exactly... It's also really interesting hearing about what it's like to perform simultaneously to not only comic heroes but also kids he went to school with. Also Instagram Stories. You know what it is - a lovely episode as usual and a ray of light if you need it!
