Hyper Epic Legendary Pop-Culture Ultimate Showdown

Every week we throw movies, video games, comic books, TV shows, anime, crypto, tier lists, fast food menus, and whatever else Twitter is yelling about into a neon-lit Japanese-style arena and force them to fight for supremacy. Expect unhinged hot takes, 45-minute arguments over whether Goku could predict the Ethereum charts, mandatory punishment games, airhorns at random, and at least one host crying by the end. If your favorite franchise leaves the episode without emotional damage, we didn’t do our job.

These characters first appeared in a series of 12 one-shots which were published in April 1996 between Marvel Comics versus DC #3 and DC versus Marvel Comics #4, the last two issues of the DC vs. Marvel crossover event. A second set of 12 one-shots followed one year later in June 1997, but without the crossover event as a background. All 24 of these one-shots took place between the aforementioned issues of DC vs. Marvel Comics. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/rangerryan/message

His first name is derived from his creator's (Mr. Sinister's) real name, Nathaniel Essex, and his last name from his genetic mother Jean Grey. Due to not being infected by a techno-organic virus as Cable was, Nate achieved vast telepathic and telekinetic powers (reflecting those that Cable would have had without the virus), and was one of the most powerful mutants in existence during his lifetime. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/rangerryan/message
