FE Origins - Lyon Dec 11, 2018

Show notes

FE Origins is a show segment where I, Illialidur, take a look at the units in Fire Emblem Heroes and explain how well the character was translated into Heroes from their original game. On today's episode: Lyon, Shadow Prince. A fantastic antagonist from the continent of Magvel in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Lyon seems like a confusing or poorly written character, but with a little information you can see why he is such a good character. He has a duplicity that makes him unique in the franchise and easily my favorite villain. I hope you enjoyed this bridge between Fire Emblem Heroes and the mainline series it is based off of. Character Clash: Healer Battle Royale Dec 07, 2018

Show notes

This Character Clash takes 8 common healers in the game and pits them in a luchador/cagematch style battle royale, and by comparing their stats and skills, with the razzle-dazzle build in mind, along with utilizing colorless duel infantry, I come up with a ranking of who is the best healer out of the bunch. Of course, this list is purely objective, and any one of these healers can be a good unit. Here is a link to my notes on the subject, with a review of all of their stats: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FKtXEDsX60gGLcEQsk7jra_KRHVR1CdcDwg-TVLz3so/edit?usp=sharing If you would like to reach us, feel free to post at our subreddit at r/fehology, or you can reach us individually at fehology@gmail.com or grepsteinfeh@gmail.com. Dragalia Emblem: A Comparison of Nintendo Mobile Games Dec 05, 2018

Show notes

Greps and I have a conversation about Nintendo's newest mobile game, Dragalia lost, and we compare it to Heroes. We discuss features that we like about Dragalia, and other mobile games as well, and how they could be applied to Heroes in upcoming updates. Note that this was recorded a few days before November's FEH channel with Aether raids and Heroic Grails, but I feel the discussion is still relevant pre-version 3.0.
