Show notes
This week on the pod, Seth and Josh take Family Trips live to Boston and welcome Tiffany Haddish! Tiffany shares her unforgettable experience spending four days in a completely dark cave retreat, including eating, bathing, and exercising in total darkness before an emotional blindfolded return to the outside world. She also talks about traveling with strangers through Groupon trips to places like China, Japan, Bermuda, and Victoria Island, and plans for a comedians’ girls trip to Mallorca. Plus, Tiffany recounts bungee jumping over the Zambezi River, visiting Auckland to see a rugby player, her DIY YouTube adventures, and her thoughts on aliens and the Grand Canyon. Lyrics
Will you come to Boston?
Tiffany said yeah I’ll go what a show
Haddish say trip me
Trip me, trip me
Trip me, trip me
Yeah, trip me.
She takes some good trips, yeah
She’s seen an eclipse, yeah
She was in Girl’s Trip, yeah
And she is a trip
She went into a cave
Demons best behave
Most people go for three
She said I’ll do four days
She did it on a lark
Completely in the dark
Just like the big old (giants!)
Grand Canyon National Park
Slept like a dead body
Blindfolded reentry
Blindfold came off was overwhelmed by all there was to see
(Colors) She felt the gratitude
She had been in the nude
Played music with three dudes
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
She spent four days in a cave up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
Cave, up in Portland
She spent four days in a cave up in Portland
On cruise ships
She’s only been with men
And that is a mistake Tiffany will not make again
They try to rein her in
But they will never win
Next time she goes a (cruisin’) she’ll bring a friend
(Strangers) She likes to travel with
She takes so many trips (anywhere she picks)
Ya girl can handle it
And who’s she hangin’ with
She looks around and knows who’s good inside of ten minutes
