The goodness of God is overwhelmingly evident in our lives, rather we admit it or not. The Bible says His goodness leads us to repentance and a closer relationship with Him. His love is unconditional, and He desires us to draw near Him.
However, there are times when we may feel that it is best to stay far away from His love. We tend to pursue things that look good but at the end of the day, aren’t good in the long run for us!
Today who are you pursuing?
What are you pursuing?
How can you ask God for help?
The Bible tells us that God is good and His mercy endures forever. We are told to “draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). His love is available to you today — & He longs to know You more. We can be sure that He will never leave or forsake us, no matter what we have done.
Sometimes, we may feel it is best to stay far away from God’s love. Due to our sin, shame, and struggles.
We may feel that we are too sinful or unworthy of His love. But the truth is that God’s love is unconditional, and He desires us to draw near Him.

God’s Perfect Patience vs. Imperfect Me Jan 02, 2023

Today’s episode will touch your heart, not because of anything we say, but because of what God promises!
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.— Romans 5:3-5
Let’s ask God to help us to form our character and conform us to Christ!!!
God has forgiven us in Christ. Be tenderhearted and forgiving just as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32). What God did in Christ is powerful. It makes change possible. The command to be tenderhearted has more to do with what God did for you than what your mother or your father did to you — and any other person on the face of the planet. This kind of command means you can change. Let’s dive in!

Be Still & Be Loved — His Presence over Presents: Perfect Peace (Holiday Hope) Dec 26, 2022

The holiday season can be a difficult time for many people. For those who have experienced a lack of peace, conflict, and messy family dynamics, this time of year can be especially hard. It can be difficult to find joy and peace during this season when so much of it seems to be focused on family and togetherness.
How can we feel so disconnected and lonely in a room full of family? When our job is unstable — and our future seems uncertain? Our lives can seem utterly hopeless.
However, there is hope. Isaiah 26:3 promises us, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.” This reminder of God’s promise can be a source of comfort and peace even during the most challenging times. We can take comfort in knowing that God is with us and that He will bring us peace and joy, no matter our circumstances.
The holiday season can be a time of joy and peace, but it can also be a lonely and challenging season. However, we can find hope and comfort in God’s promises.

What do we do when the unexpected happens? Have we pondered to brevity of life lately? As we head into year 2022 here's a reminder.... Living knowing that your life is a vapor is different than just living. Things here are passing away. You’ve got to hold on to what will stand. Savor what matters. Life Is Short. Eternity Is Long. Live Like It. This may sound harsh, but it's true as night follows the day. You will exist forever. You and God are both in the universe to stay—either as friends on His terms, or enemies on yours—which it will be is proven in this life. And this life is a vapor. Two seconds, and we will be gone.

This week we’re hanging out with my beloved friends, Ben and his bride Kirsten.
Kirsten Watson is a daughter of the King, wife of retired 16-season NFL player Benjamin Watson, Mommy to 7 kiddos, author and executive editor of Mom Life Today. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and Spanish, Kirsten worked for a Fortune 500 company and then entered into the nonprofit arena. With Benjamin she founded the One More Foundation, which is devoted to spreading the love and hope to "one more" soul. After many moves across the US, she is now CEO of a family of 9. She is a self-proclaimed "Foodie" who loves time with family and friends having deep conversations about life and Kingdom building. She has a heart for young girls and women and truly desires to speak truth in love when it comes to navigating life.
Benjamin is a 16 year retired NFL star, husband to his wife Kirsten for 16 years, Daddy to 7 kids, ESPN sports commentator, author, and a voice to the voiceless. Benjamin was a key playmaker for teams such as the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. His passion for football mirrors his passion for giving back. Through their foundation One More, he is devoted to spreading the love and hope to “one more” soul. Benjamin has authored 2 books, Under Our Skin, which garnered critical acclaim and eventually led to the release of his highly anticipated second literary work, The New Dad’s Playbook. Presently, Benjamin works with ESPN on the SEC Network, the Human Coalition, and hosts a podcast with Kirsten titled Why or Why Not with the Watsons.

Today, we're hanging with Carlie Tice Cleveland, and she's the director of the Real Truth Ministries non profit organization.
Her organization specializes in training the church to properly care for a sexual assault survivors.
Here’s a little bit about her:
She's a Jesus follower, wife, nonprofit director, state certified sexual assault counselor, and a survivor of sexual abuse. She has a real heart for and love to teach and discuss God’s Word, and engage the Church by writing Bible studies and by lifestyle blogging.
The Real Truth Ministries was born and became a nonprofit organization in 2019. Since then, we have also created many other trainings and resources such as our child consent trainings, parent consent guide, healthy dating trainings, etc.

- Biblically loving and caring for sexual assault survivors
- Creating a Church culture that is a safe place for survivors
- Supporting survivors after they share their story
