In this sermon, Washer talks about the importance of prayer and being alone with God. He talks about how Christ who is a perfect man (and God), spent a lot of time praying, and how much more, we as sinners should be praying and spending time with Jesus. Praying that this resource would be a blessing to you.

Washer preached this sermon at Shepherd's Conference on March 11th, 2016. He speaks about the profound truth that Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, became sin for us on the cross. The main passage is 2 Corinthians 5:20: Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Praying that this sermon would help your walk with our Lord Jesus Christ! For more information about this sermon, please visit Grace Community Church's website, or click here.
In 2002, Paul Washer delivered a sermon at a youth evangelism conference that would become one of the most influential and powerful messages of the modern era. Entitled "The Shocking Message," this sermon was designed to shake his audience out of complacency and inspire them to pursue a genuine faith in Christ.
Washer's message is characterized by its stark honesty and urgency, and he makes clear that a superficial or nominal faith in Christ is not enough for salvation. He emphasizes the importance of genuine repentance, and warns of the consequences of continuing in unrepentant sin. The message is both challenging and inspiring, and encourages Christians to pursue a deeper, more genuine faith in Christ.
"The Shocking Message" quickly gained widespread attention and became a viral sensation on the internet. It has continued to inspire and challenge Christians around the world, and is widely regarded as one of the most powerful sermons of the modern era.
If you're looking for a message that will challenge you to pursue a deeper, more genuine faith in Christ, then "The Shocking Message" by Paul Washer is a sermon that you won't want to miss. It is a powerful call to true faith and discipleship that continues to inspire and challenge Christians today.
The original recording of "The Shocking Message" by Paul Washer was not of the highest quality, however, we have taken steps to enhance the audio for a better listening experience. We hope you enjoy this and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ!
