In his book, The Art of Loving, Philosopher Erich Fromm wrote, “There is hardly any activity, any enterprise, which is started with such tremendous hopes and expectations, and yet, which fails so regularly, as love.”
This is especially true in modern love and dating. We have never had so many options to find love, and yet have never been so lost in knowing how to cultivate it. Too often we jump into dating without actually having any knowledge around what it is that we want. We jump in expecting that if it's the right love, It will be effortless. But the truth is just like anything else worth pursuing, finding and creating a lasting love requires work, effort, and commitment.
If we want to find the best person for us, we need to first commit to being the best version of ourselves. The energy we put out, is the energy we will attract.
