    3. "I used to be a piece of shit." Aug 04, 2021
    Show notes

When people in positions of power use that power to manipulate or abuse others, how do we heal the harm that they've committed?

We discuss how society views sexual abuse, explore various approaches to justice, and define accountability, while dispelling the myth that healing harm equates to cancel culture.

Many of us were drawn to the independent music scene out of a desire to be part of a progressive, inclusive, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-racist, and anti-violent community. It's time for all of us to #speakupforourscene in order to preserve those values.

    1. This is enough. Jul 19, 2021
    Show notes

Sexual harassment and abuse have always existed in the music industry. While many seem to know this, too few of them grasp how expansive the problem has become.

Many people we know in the punk scene have expressed that they “had no idea”, they “can’t keep up with the accusations”, or they “want to know how to be better”, but don’t know where to start. There are no more excuses

This podcast is a place for survivors of abuse to share their truths and to expose listeners to the patterns of abuse and how the self-involved actions of others can change the course of another person’s life.
