    Show notes

Episode 5 features a conversation with one of our favorite people, Dan Coley! You've seen Dan on stage as the host of ETC Simulcasts in the past, now hear him on his back porch talking about the power of being present with our host, JD and ETC's Mo Ottinger. What are the keys to being present and why is it so important to 'do the work' in your own heart before you can ask your children and those you're in relationship with to open up and share theirs? Glad you asked - tune in and find out!

We also unveil an exciting new resource being offered soon at ETC especially for dads, so make sure to stick around until after the conversation with Dan to hear all about it! Jacque talks to us about what the process of unlearning, parenting African-American children in diverse environments and what one of her children told her he wished she would have prepared him for - it's a really great conversation and we think you're going to love it!
