(Bonus Episode) Derek on the On Purpose Show with Susyn Reeve and Rikk Hansen Jul 05, 2024

Show notes

"I've Already Got It." Imagine taking a stand for that truth today. If that's true - if you already are, if you already have, if it's already happening - then how would you show up? If it's true that you are already ENOUGH ...then how will you show up in the world now?

Today's episode brings you an interview from the On Purpose Show (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/linkedlocalnetwork/2014/11/13/on-purpose-your-path-to-fulfilling-lifework) with Susyn Reeve and Rikk Hansen in which we shift the paradigm and begin to acknowledge and accept that everything we deeply want we've already got.

This is the starting point ...because "You don't get what you want, you get who you are."

(Bonus Episode) The Patience of Unanswered Prayer: How to Nurture the Seed of Your Soul Until Its Time to Grow Jul 03, 2024

Show notes

"God, please send me some rent money."

This is what so many prayers look like. We pray for something we feel is lacking, something that's "out there."

But, there really is no "out there" out there. Your point of consciousness is the entry point through which all of life pours forth into expression. You are the evolving point of the mind of the Universe itself - there is no God, life, or consciousness separate from you, your life, or your consciousness.

Ultimately whatever's missing is what you're not giving.

So if it's going to happen, it's going to happen through and as your consciousness. There is no other way.

Today's audio reveals the way to pray through and as your consciousness.

(Bonus Episode) Derek on the Miriam Knight Show Jul 01, 2024

Show notes

If God is all-loving and all-knowing, where does all the suffering come from? We are the source of everything that shows up in our lives. If you don't know where you're going, every road will take you there. You must have a vision of where you want your life to go, or you cannot develop the navigation system to take you to it. Just like you can't cultivate the right conditions for a seed to grow if you don't know what kind of seed that is. Suffering arises because of this struggle to achieve a vision that we haven't identified.

Listen to this interview between Miriam Knight, founder of New Consciousness Review (ncreview.com) and Derek Rydall, author of Emergence: 7 Steps to Radical Life Change, in which is revealed one of the most powerful clues to realizing and tapping in to your vision to bring its full emergence into your life.

(Bonus Episode) Your Setback is a Setup for a Comeback Jun 19, 2024

Show notes

What sense is there in the tragic experiences of our lives? Our setbacks feel so permanent.

These setbacks feel all the more terrible when we are striving to create good in the world. Because as soon as we set our desire in motion through prayer or intention, we're on a conscious path of growth.

"Tragedy" strikes while we're growing and simultaneously trying to hold onto our sense of identity: all of the people, the places, the situations we've become attached to and identified with as "me."

This is when we start to really freak out, dig in, and try to hold on to our protective shell.

Put another way, just when we start to crack open and emerge into an experience of greater love, joy, abundance, or whatever it is we have committed to ...it feels like something "bad" is happening to the circumstances we've become accustomed to.

We might even call in some healers to try to heal our situation, to repair the cracks, because if you have the ability to fix what appears "wrong" with your body, your relationships, your circumstances, that's what you're at least going to try to do.

It's an endless cycle.

So, how do you live in a place of relative peace and joy and freedom and trust and on a path of growth and progress when you're going to bump into these challenges and crises on an ongoing basis forever?

"Your Setback is a Setup for a Comeback," shows you how to enjoy the drama of your life, to play your part ...but to then walk off the stage when the curtain falls.

And not look back.

(Bonus Episode) Rapid Confidence and Self Esteem Jun 17, 2024

Show notes

We all want more confidence and self-esteem We all know that acknowledging and validating and seeing the goodness and the greatness in your child or in anyone is very necessary. And we all know that, in many cases, that acknowledgment and validation is completely absent. Or (and worse, ironically), we try to boost others' self-esteem by providing praise and rewards and making everyone win, even when they haven't achieved anything.

But what many people might not know is the damage this creates.

When you promise yourself that "I'm going to write this book," or "I'm going to lose these 10 pounds," - whatever it might be - but then you don't follow through, you've just breached your own inner structural integrity.

Sure, we get a temporary relief by kicking back on the couch and eating Haagen Daas and watching "The Bachelor" instead of going to the gym. But the next time you need to make a commitment to yourself, you're going to feel weaker about your capacity to keep your word.

It's going to get harder and harder until you just give up.

True confidence and self-esteem are really our innate capacity to truly love, value, respect ourselves. These qualities are already the truth of our being ...but like all of the qualities, they have to be activated.

The good news is that your inner confidence and self-esteem are inherent to you right now. You've only got to activate this inner strength, and you will know the great joy of achieving your creative and productive goals.

Listen to today's episode, "Rapid Confidence and Self-Esteem," to unleash the strength and stability within you.

(Bonus Episode) If I Really Was God, What Then? Jun 12, 2024

Show notes

We ask, "Hey God, where are you? We need help down here!"

And God's like, "What do you think I sent YOU for?" You ARE the help!"

Many of us spiritually-minded folks are waiting for some power to touch us on the top of the head, for something to happen to us - enlightenment, Grace, whatever - before we can really show up and be who we really are.

We're kind of waiting for God to show up.

This constant and incessant drive to get what seems missing or get rid of what seems to be a problem comes from a mortal sense of self apart from God. But you can't add anything to God. Any prayer or affirmation to get or add to yourself is pointless.

Today's episode shows you how to ask a completely different question in order to give what appears missing, to radiate the love that heretofore we were seeking, and to pour that imprisoned splendor into the world.

The best part? Compared to the frantic action we're used to using to try and get what we want, the real work of being happy looks a lot like just resting.
