EP3: Foxy Pickett on Shamanism, Shadow Work, and Living a Forbidden Life May 22, 2015
    Show notes

In Feb 2015, I did a 5-day symposium consisting of 25 interviews with powerful and inspiring women sharing their stories and advice for transcending life's struggles, fears and doing it their own way. We got so much incredible feedback on the interviews, we decided to turn it into a podcast. At times during the interviews when you hear us refer to the series or interviews that have already been done, keep in mind these interviews have been repurposed and may not follow the original order – but stay tuned because we'll be airing two each month alternating with fresh new episodes called "Ask Liz" every Wednesday.

Foxy is a trusted soul sister, personal mentor of mine and this was one of the most popular interviews in the original series when we surveyed viewers.

About Foxy: Mrs. Fox is a contemporary shaman, bringing animal medicine to those craving a more soul-aligned, wild life. Due to its playful nature and quick, tangible results, her work has been called "more effective than years of traditional therapies". Through totem readings, integration sessions, and interactive learning in her online shamanic university, people around the world have found and unleashed their true natures. Foxy's an ENFP Aries (Taurus rising, Aquarian Moon) with a 5 life path and is a 7/4 on the Enneagram. You can often find her eating bacon, hiking, or playing with her Tiger husband, 4-year old Monkey son and Giraffe star daughter (just born this January) in their permaculture garden.

    In this episode Foxy shares:

    1. What are shamanism and animal medicine? 2. Why are they valuable pathways home to ourselves? 3. How to recognize and relate to your shadow side

EP2: Rochelle Schieck on Living Qoya, Wise, Wild, and Free May 21, 2015

Back in 2013 when I was studying sensual movement as part of developing Wild Soul Movement, my friend Kate Northrup introduced me to today's guest, Rochelle Schieck, founder and creator of Qoya.

About Rochelle: Rochelle Schieck loves to move- in her body and around the world. She started dancing as a young girl growing up in Minnesota until she was summoned by the call of adventure. Her love of movement and the desire to explore life's meaning compelled her to spend the last 10+ years traveling around the world as a student and teacher to places throughout North and South America, Europe, Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Rochelle began instructing various yoga styles for all ages and abilities, several dance modalities and NIA. She has led over 4,000 movement classes and facilitated hundreds of private sessions. On a strong hit of intuition, she decided to move to New York City to enroll in a women's empowerment program subtitled The Pleasure Revolution; this further inspired her study of the divine feminine, sensuality, and other womanly arts. This coupled with her experience as a personal trainer, certified massage therapist, shamanic energy healer and her degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts have all influenced her creation of the movement system, Qoya.

In this episode Rochelle walks us through: 1.How to get information and feedback for your life using your emotions 2.Honoring your masculine and feminine energies and why both are useful 3.How to cultivate deep trust in yourself to worry less and experience more abundance in your life.

Our first episode is actually the last interview from the series.

In this interview, Chela Davison my former coach and current friend interviews me about the experience of interviewing 25 women on the topic of untaming yourself. We're sharing this first to give you an exciting preview of what's to come in the next few months.
