Show notes

-It’s not a surprise to really anyone, but now it’s official: Martinez is moving on to a new team next year for his final season in college football

-Martinez was as polarizing of a player as we’ve seen at Nebraska, and the conversation around him will be like that for a long time. Now we’ll see how he can do at a different program

-Now we have clarity on that, so it seems obvious Nebraska will go into the portal. Do you expect to have a new QB by Signing Day via the portal?

Austin Allen is named All-B1G First Team tight end by the media…can Nebraska make that position a priority going forward? Dec 02, 2021

Show notes

-It’s a dream for people like Jake who have begged for Nebraska to utilize the tight end position, and now it’s rewarded with a nice honor for Austin Allen

-This is great news for Nebraska, who have seen Iowa and Wisconsin roll out great tight ends every year, and then got Thomas Fidone away from the state of Iowa…he has to be a happy man

-If Travis Vokolek sticks around, you have to feel pretty good about the Fidone/Vokolek duo
