Is there a situation where Sip would ever be OK with a player not playing in a bowl game? Dec 21, 2021

Show notes

-It’s one of the things that bothers Sip most in this life, and Jake isn’t a huge fan of it, either. We’re curious where listeners stand on it

-Is there a cut-off of what bowl game you go to where it might be acceptable? If Nebraska had won 9+ games for 5 straight years and then went 6-6 one year, would fans be OK if some players didn’t play? Would they understand/support it if those players had NFL potential?

-Jake wonders if there is a time where Sip would actually say “I support that” to any situation

Show notes

It was a loss, but Nebraska volleyball showed why they are so loved and respected in this state on Saturday night Dec 20, 2021

Show notes

-What an epic match between Nebraska and Wisconsin, as the Badgers won the 5^th set to take the title, but it was incredible effort on both sides. A team of a lifetime for Wisconsin almost didn’t get it done against a team with talented freshmen playing

-The loss is painful, and then you think about what the future looks like. Final Four in Omaha next year. Lots of returning players and talented freshmen coming in.

-Losing sucks, but at least it’s an amazing product we all can enjoy.
