Another game, another disastrous performance by Nebrasketball, this time at Iowa Feb 14, 2022

Show notes

-You thought they might build on Wednesday’s win against Minnesota, right? Try again. Nebrasketball was in the game for a short span, and that was it, in a 98-75 loss at Iowa

-You all know where Jake stands with this era, so not much more needs to be said there. The team falls to 7-18 overall and 1-13 in conference play. Just bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.

Should you ever hire the exact polar opposite type of coach when making a change on a staff? Feb 11, 2022

Show notes

-Jake has seen this up close right now with the Dolphins going from alpha-type, defensive-minded Brian Flores to fan-friendly, offensive-minded Mike McDaniel

-Nebraska saw this, too, a couple of times; going from Frank Solich and his type of offense to Bill Callahan; and going from Bo Pelini to Mike Riley

-Both times for Nebraska, it didn’t work out great…so what do you learn from this? Is a drastic change ever truly the right answer?
