-Athlon Sports puts Nebraska as 5^th in the West behind Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Purdue

-Here’s a better question—whose ceiling is highest of those 5 teams? And how close is each team to their ceiling?

Show notes

-It’s amazing what quality starting pitching will do for you—and Nebraska had it all 4 games against Northwestern State and UT-Arlington. Unfortunately, Colby Gomes couldn’t protect a 3-run lead in the first game against UT-Arlington, which means Nebraska wins 3 of 4

-Are we going to see the next few games happen? Supposed to play at K-State mid-week with chance of snow, and the Long Beach State series in Lincoln this weekend looks c-c-c-old….
