CBS Sports ranked the top 10 back-up QBs in college football, listing Dylan Raiola at No. 1….we know Nebraska has 3 QBs who have played Division 1 football but does that make it a good room? Jun 22, 2026

Show notes

-No one is really surprised to see Raiola ranked No. 1 in the country as a back-up QB—his time in Nebraska didn’t deliver what fans hoped but he still has talent and tons of experience

-When it comes to Nebraska’s QB room…none of the backups made the list as a top 10 in the country…but do you feel OK if TJ Lateef or Daniel Kaelin has to come in and play? Which of those do you feel better about?

CBS Sports went game-by-game for each B1G team and picked Nebraska to go 6-6….which isn’t surprising, but it brings light to the Huskers’ need to win a game they’re not supposed to Jun 22, 2026

Show notes

-CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford picked Nebraska to start 5-0 yet finish 6-6…which would be a story all too common for a program struggling to win in the months that matter most---the only win he has after the 5-0 start is at Rutgers in November

-That means losses to Indiana, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Ohio State and Iowa. None of those are bad losses or surprising, but another loss to Illinois further proves what Bret Beilema is doing in there in comparison to what isn’t happening in Lincoln…and that screams yet another year without a ranked victory
