You know what Mickey Joseph could to right now? Convince his team the West is still in reach Sep 13, 2022

Show notes

-The defense is in shambles, but maybe Joseph/Mark Whipple could devise offensive play-calling to churn more time off the clock to help keep the defense off the field…or maybe ask for more aggressive/creative defensive play calls

-Minnesota looks tough, but other than that (and maybe Purdue), the West looks pretty average. Why can’t Joseph convince the team that they can still make a run?

The worst part about all of this? The B1G West had a horrible day and it was a great chance for Nebraska to stand out Sep 12, 2022

Show notes

-Iowa’s offense continues to be non-existent as they fell to Iowa State, 10-7, and now are 1-1 on the year

-Also, Wisconsin fell at home to Washington State, and Northwestern lost at home to Duke. Minnesota and Purdue looked good in wins….but, man. Nebraska crapped the bed again.

Pack your bags, Scott Frost: Nebraska’s defense unravels in a horrific 45-42 loss at home to Georgia Southern of the Sun Belt, leading to his firing Sep 12, 2022

Show notes

-Frost was let go early Sunday afternoon, after the loss to Georgia Southern. His era as head coach resulted in a 16-31 record and numerous dumbfounding close losses

-Nothing is really surprising anymore with this football program, but a 23.5 point spread going into the game in your favor made you think that just MAYBE Nebraska could have a comfortable win

-This was Clay Helton’s 2nd game with the program---and this is Scott Frost’s 5th year, who said they were out-schemed in postgame. This happens too much. So long, Frost.
