AAC Commissioner Mike Aresco pretty much admitted there’s really a Power 2 right now in college sports, in an effort that kind of backfired Mar 10, 2023

-Aresco put out a statement before the AAC Tourney tipped off, asking why the AAC and other Group of 5 conferences aren’t as respected as much as ‘Power 5’ schools -He mentions Houston is the top team in the country—from the AAC---and they had a recent College Football Playoff team---Cincinnati---and that they should be respected more -The problem? He also admitted that the gap from the 2nd to 3rd best conference in the country is the same gap as the 3rd best conference to the rest of them…we get his point, but that kind of says there’s really a Power 2…right? -If there were two power-house conferences with a combined 32 teams, could we see a system like soccer where you need to win to stay in the "Power 2" and you would be demoted if you lose too much? -It seems that the media creates the uneven playing field that is separated into the Power 5 and Group of 5 conferences Show sponsored by GANA TRUCKING
