The B1G is reportedly considering no longer requiring its schools to schedule a non-conference game against the Power 5 May 11, 2023

Show notes

Would you still want your school to schedule a marquee non-conference game or not? -In the B1G’s mind, less losses with weaker schedule > more losses with tougher schedule when it comes to the playoff…are we going to lose the zip of non-conference play in college football? -The B1G schools have non-conference Power 5 games scheduled in advance for the next 3-4 years, but will teams abandon these games and play FCS schools?
