The art of the kickoff return is fading away in the NFL…and a few big name head coaches aren’t happy about it May 26, 2023

Show notes

-We’ve discussed this in months past as a rule change (just for 2023 as of now), but the NFL is allowing any kick that’s caught inside the 25 yard line on kickoffs to be placed as a touchback at the 25-yard line -This is already happening in college football, but Andy Reid and John Harbaugh expressed great displeasure about it earlier this week, asking how much more can you do to strip this great game away? Husker baseball got things underway yesterday in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament in Omaha…did the bats stay hot against Rutgers? May 25, 2023

Show notes

-Nebraska had won 6 of their last 7 games entering yesterday’s game, as they were the 4-seed against 5-seed Rutgers. Nebraska got off to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, but was it enough? -The difference in a win vs. a loss in terms of fan attendance for game 2 is massive. If Nebraska lost, it’s a 10am game TODAY. If they won, a 6pm game in the winner’s bracket….so plenty of incentive to start off well Show sponsored by GANA TRUCKING
