-Let’s ask this, too---win or lose, is everyone expecting a close game? The last 3 games against Minnesota each were decided by 7 points…is this another example of that tonight?

-Coach Busch gives his perspective on what would give him problems as a defensive coordinator

-With John Bullock starting as the inside linebacker tonight (due to Nick Henrich being out), it's important that he keeps calm and composed throughout the game!

Show notes

-Jay Foreman and Coach Busch explain what their messages would be to the football team tonight!

-If the Huskers fall, how would Matt Rhule prevent his team from having a losing mindset?

-Unfortunately for Nebraska fans, this rematch of an epic game last year between the Utes and Gators is at the same time as your game; Huskers are at 7pm on FOX, and Utah/Florida is 7pm on ESPN

-Both teams have some QB issues with Anthony Richardson onto the NFL with the Colts, and Cam Rising injured for Utah…are we going to be a sloppy game?

Last night was Volleyball Day in Nebraska….and TODAY is the return of HUSKER FOOTBALL! GAMEDAY!!! Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

-What an incredible night last night in Lincoln with 90,000+ fans in attendance for Husker volleyball at Memorial Stadium. It was a fun time and you just hope Nebraska football can build on the momentum of it tonight in Minneapolis

-However, we’ve seen many times where Husker volleyball has a great weekend…and makes up for the lack of success for the football team. Will we see a team tonight that plays with confidence or not?

-A lot of people see this as a close game, but a close loss for Nebraska…something that fans have seen far too much of over the past few years

Matt Rhule says he won’t panic if Nebraska gets off to slow starts in games and falls behind…do they have enough talent offensively to believe that? Aug 30, 2023

Show notes

-Rhule mentioned yesterday that Nebraska led the Gophers last year, 10-0, and still lost, 20-13. The fast start didn’t matter at that point.

-Rhule said being down 17-0 doesn’t matter to him because how you play going into the 4th quarter and in the 4th quarter matters more to him; we suppose that he means that by hoping that they’ve made it competitive heading to the 4th quarter…

-Does Nebraska have the firepower to believe they can come back from behind?
